After getting to know the banjo after the initial thrill of it’s lovely sound I realised the action was very low (2.75mm) and the neck relief excessive ( 1.0mm).
I am left with cautiously trying to get it set up to Deering’s standard recommendations.
I am not even sure the neck is correctly positioned on the pot.?
If I was closer I would have brought it back for attention.
Don’t feel I got premium set up!
