Booked car with Economy Bookings for the first time. During booking I have selected pickup and drop off time, have been quoted based on it and decided to go ahead. During picking the car I have been advised that drop off time is outside normal working hours and I have to pay additional 50 euro. I have disagreed with as I clearly selected required time and not have been advised about additional charge during booking. I have phoned Economy bookings and have been told to go ahead with car picking, to pay extra 50 euros and to contact customer service after car is returned for refund - they even sent me form to be filled up. When car rental finished, I have contacted economy booking but they are not interested, they don't want to refund 50 euro they promised over phone they are going to cover. Economy booking mis sold product and service, hidden fees. I booked car with economy booking, given required time and have been quoted based on it. Additional fee should be included in car rental or it should be clearly shown during quotation/booking confirmation. How customer can know if there is additional fee? how customer can know how big it is? So far looks like the lied to us over the phone. Very disappointed with customer service and service provide. Do not recommend to anybody, Avoid at all cost. I'm renting cars quite often and never had such bad experience and un-honest approach to the customer.
