I have found Emma Bridgewater to be knowingly misleading.
Whilst ordering 2 personalised items on the Emma Bridgewater website a 'pop up' appeared offering 10% off if I signed up to their notifications - which I duly did. I then tried to use the discount code at the checkout. I received a message that the code was not applicable.
Speaking to Amanda at Emma Bridgewater customer services the company knows that this 10% offer pops up on all orders - whether it is applicable or not. It was my fault for not reading the terms and conditions associated with the offer. Very stupid of me to think the company would have a simple 'if then else ' associated with the pop up so it only appeared when it was of use.
I feel the company has very little regard for other people's time if they encourage people to sign up for offers they know they won't honour.
