Extremely poor quality! I shall not purchase her products in future, neither do I recommend! I already sent photos to the company but was dismissed.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. The mugs are cute and all but the packaging is HORRIBLE. They put the mug I ordered in a box, no packing material at all. Just the mug in a box….. so when the package arrived the mug was shattered to pieces. I will never be buying a mug from this company again.

My review is purely on quality not design or the company. I love all the designs, but the handles fall off every single mug over time, as well as the glaze cracking. For the price of the mug, its really disappointing, and after having around 20 over the years, I am left with just one - all the others are now expensive handle-less pen pots!!!

Despite very attractive designs, we will never buy EB crockery again. We bought a full 12-piece set and after a couple of years the glazing started to craze. We now have to throw the dinner plates out because grey smudges (mould?) is spreading under the crazing and it looks unhygienic. It's a great shame because we love the polka dot design, but there is no way we are going to spend £25.00 a piece to replace plates that will only last two years. Quality: 0; design: 5, but just 1 star because of our huge disappointment!

This is the second time I have attempted to provide a review but have failed even though it said it had ben verified! Seems like anything less than 5 star will not get published!! Anyway, in a nutshell - crazed glazing in mugs. Handle falling off one due to glazing issue. Looking at past reviews seems like many people have the same issue. Contacted customer services and they aren't interested unless you have a receipt or the issue occurs within a short guarantee period. Denby pottery lasts years and looks as good as it did when new. Emma Bridgewater has a serious issue and won't do anything about I. Very poor. We definitely will not buy any of their products again in the future. (Now let's see if this review gets published :)).

Have bought Emma Bridgewater products/ mugs over the years and have had various issues on and off but have done nothing about it until now. Some of the mugs have crazing on the outer glaze, and only last week a handle fell off one mug at a position where crazing was concentrated. It went straight into the dustbin, but another mug is so severely crazed I decided to contact customer services and see what they would do about it. The answer was nothing unless I had a receipt. Now who honestly saves a receipt when they buy a single mug?? (we used to buy a mug to add to the collection every time we visited the factory). Obviously they have a quality issue and reading the poor reviews it sounds like this has been an issue for some time now. I wouldn't mind if they were cheap but they are way over priced! I have logged my disappointment with customer services but it doesn't sound like they care at all. If I was the boss at Emma Bridgewater I would be very concerned about such poor customer feedback and would do something about it. If you buy any Denby pottery products the quality is far superior compared with Emma Bridgewater rubbish! I certainly wouldn't be buying any of EB products in the future or attending painting classes as we have done in the past!!

Almost all my playes, cups and saucers have crazed, even my teapot which is only used for display. Very disappointing, especially considering how expensive they are

I bought a large number of dinner plates. They were ( despite being supposedly first quality) not all perfect. Chips underneath the glaze, and uneven surfaces. Used very gently, yet another of the plates chipped on first use being gently hand washed! Very disappointed with the quality. Spent so much on these items but they aren’t going to last long. They should be much cheaper

Took 18 days to arrive. 11 days before it was even dispatched. Not even personalised items, just standard stock. It was sent economy even though I was charged £32 postage. I'll buy from Brixton Pottery next time as they offer 2 day dispatch and next day delivery after that.

Me and my family have spent about £1,500 on my EB collection over the years and items are starting to craze even though they have only been displayed on a dresser or kept in a cupboard! I have also been sent chipped, scratched, and pitted items as first quality. I love the designs but can't justify buying any more EB as it is not fit for purpose. I have second-hand plates from other British potteries that are decades old and almost as good as the day they were made. Disappointed.

My Wife has 5 Emma Bridgewater mugs. All, to varying degrees, have crazed. 2 or 3 to a point where she doesn't like to use them. As they don't look clean. Given the price of these items and the time they have had to perfect their manafacturing processes I have to say we are more than disappointed. As these are of different designs and purchased as different times it cannot be assumed that this was a faulty batch. On reading their website you need to quote order numbers etc. in order for their customer services to respond which we cannot do as these were all purchased for her as presents. I have left 1 star as no stars is not an option. Needless to say we will not be purchasing anymore products from EB. Buyer Beware!

All my mugs have crazed, customer services won't replace any of them. I've been collecting since the mid 80's when the company started, the early pieces are truly collectable and this has not happened to them. Unfortunately the modern, mass produced items all craze. Everyone I know has crazed mugs and plates! Sadly I won't buy any more pieces as this is clearly a feature of them. Other pottery i collect does not craze. The items are expensive and do not last.

This is a review on the excellent customer service received when a mistake was made on an order. I ordered a wedding present from Emma Bridgewater and there was a delay in shipping, unfortunately this meant that the item would arrive at our home after we had left for the wedding 300 miles away. I called and explained this to the customer service representative who changed the address on the order. I received an Emily a couple of days later from DPD which stated our home address as the delivery address still. I rang the Emma Bridgewater customer service again and was assured it was not going to our home address. Next day I had a notification of delivery from DPD, you guessed it, the item was photographed on my home doorstep 300 miles away, the day before the wedding. I rang Emma Bridgewater for a third time, explained the situation and a lady called Catherine apologised profusely and put through a rush order on the same item to be delivered next day but warned it might not arrive in time… Well I am very happy to say that less than 24 hours later, wedding gift in hand, we were on our way to the wedding! Thank you Catherine for turning round what would have been a 1 star experience!

My experience of Emma Bridgewater tableware is that the quality does not match the price A Number of my pieces are crazed! I am very disappointed with the product.

Bridgewater do have some great designs, but sadly, the quality of the products is quite poor. We have bought a number of products over the years, including, plates, mugs, cutlery and none of it has lasted very well. At these prices, this merchandise should be lifelong purchases, to be willed to descendants! Not one item that we have purchased has endured.

Recently worked at your Mier Park Warehouse, got to be the most unprofessional, disappointing BORING place to work Zombies have more going on, for such a big brand name the staff turnover is off the scale, retention is HORRENDOUS

I contacted customer services to look for replacement lids for butter dishes. I now have 2 perfectly good dishes but the lids are the pieces that are likely to break. I was told that you do not do replacement lids as each piece is made individually and they may not fit. Sorry I do not believe this reason -I feel it is more with not wanting to supply replacement parts to your customers as it is more lucrative to force them to buy the entire dish again. When the world is teetering on the verge of an environmental disaster - your company should be making efforts to reduce your carbon footprint instead of manufacturing unnecessary pieces which your customers do not want or need. Also in these financially hard times, you might consider this a gesture of good will to your customers to show that you listen and care about them. I can guarantee you that if I am in this situation there are many many others with similar problem.
