scammers! get your bank details up front, dont show up for hours. Say they cant do the work and leave within 10 minutes. My feeling is these so called tradespeople are not qualified to do the work but simply show up, make excuses and leave without doing anything at all. Sensibly, i immediately stopped my bank card so they couldnt help themselves to £125 plus vat. I question if this company are even vat registered. Reported them to Trading Standards!
