I booked for a plumber to come and replace the WC float in the toilet cistern, I was quoted a price of £135 per hour plus Vat plus parts. I confirmed acceptance and they asked for my credit card details which I gave, please note this is before they had started job ! Just before they were due to call on me a man rang to say I had been under quoted and the price was now £165 an hour plus Vat plus parts. I refused to accept this as the price had already been confirmed on my phone. As far as I am concerned this is a very sharp, underhanded practice by what I had believed was a reputable company.I believe attention should be brought to this kind of practice. Thankyou
