I purchased two ROOTS "1973" camera pouches from ExcellentPhoto at an excellent price and with very low shipping. Unfortunately the pouches are a little too small for my camera -- I relied on the photo and it looked the same as the one I am replacing (a ROOTS "D1", or "D2" is OK), but it is in fact a different model in a slightly smaller size. But that's OK, perhaps I can use them for something else, or even sell them at some point. (Returning is an option, but not cost-effective.) In any case, I tried to order the correct size camera pouch from ExcellentPhoto, but they don't carry the "D1" or "D2". They are almost impossible to find -- I've looked occasionally over the years -- but I did find the case at another shop (PixM Photo Video), for almost TWICE the price, and shipping cost MORE THAN TWICE (they use only Purolator). I needed a new case desperately, so I ordered it anyway. I'm not happy about it, but such is life. But for the record, I am very pleased with the product & service from ExcellentPhoto and I would buy from them again!
