I replaced 35+ year old wood shutters with vinyl shutters. Not only were the wood shutters dated, but they were about 1/2 the width they should be. The extra wide shutters I ordered arrived exactly as I expected them to look. The instructions for mounting the extra wide panel shutters was not as instructive as the instructions and video for the regular size louvered shutters. For that reason, I deducted a star. Once I figured out where to drill the holes and how to mount the first shutter on a brick veneer wall, the rest were relatively easy. Once mounted, from 10 to 15 feet the shutters look nice and just like wood shutters. From the road, you would never guess they are vinyl.
