We really appreciated the options available for our shutters and the ease of which we were able to order and pick the options we wanted. The price was a bit of a shock, but the material quality and aesthetics was well worth it. I have no doubt these shutters will still look great decades from now. A couple of criticisms, but nothing major. I'm not sure why the holes were not pre-drilled from the factory. I suppose it is in case the installers need to adjust placement of the mounting screws in case pre-drilled placements would not work for a particular installation. However, it might be a nice option for the company to ask the buyers and drill the holes to their recommended specs if that option would work for them. My concern was that I am not the most gifted when doing these types of carpentry applications. In the end, it turned out fine and somehow I was able to drill the holes in places that looked centered and professional. Another suggestion would be to include one or two extra screws per shutter. There were only the exact amount of screws needed included in the packaging. As I mentioned, I am a novice at these kinds of things and I could see myself easily messing up a screw while drilling it in. Also, in our circumstances, we were mounting these above a lot of thick vegetation. I was fearful of one of the screws being dropped and being difficult or impossible to find. Packaging and delivery was perfect and we received the shutters well within the delivery window they provided. Overall, I would highly recommend Exterior Solutions. The shutters look amazing and much better than the basic vinal shutters that they replaced.
