I ordered food from a local takeaway. Tracking information was good and food was cooked quickly. The problem was the delivery. I tracked the vehicle and it made lengthy stops at various points. I then received a message to say my order had been delivered. I rang the restaurant owner who was helpful and contacted Foodhub. I tried calling the delivery driver but the phone was not answered. After a long we webchat with Foodhub I got a message to say my order had been cancelled. They then had the cheek to credit me with a refund “for your next order”. When I asked for a refund to my payment card I was told it would take 3-5 days.
I shall not be using Foodhub again when there are rivals who charge significantly less for delivery and do actually deliver.
