..I never knew about the little loaves of French bread... until about a year or 2 ago at a new restaurant that we go to, and thot I had gone to heaven....I did an online search for these small individual loaves of French bread and found Food Service Direct carried them...I thot I would give them a try and ever since then, I have been buying a case at a time (46 small loaves I think) at a time so now I always have them on hand when my husband and myself want them.. They come frozen in a styrofoam box with dry ice .Once we receive them we vacuum seal them and freeze them 2 to a bag and toss in the freezer...when we want some for a meal, I let them thaw for about 30 minutes, and I bake them for about 7-8 minutes at 350* and serve them hot from the oven...I will always keep getting these loaves of french bread from Food Service Direct ....Service was great when I had a question or 2 and the bread arrives within 2-3 days still frozen.
