Last year I purchased a box (12) of Van Holtens WarHeads Sour Pickles from Amazon. I also ordered a gallon of sour pickles from Amazon from another company in Texas. The price was approx. the same from other vendors. When my gallon of pickles arrived, the box was damaged, soaked with pickle brine and was repackaged in stead of returning to the vendor. The box of Van Holten pickles arrived a week later. Customer service was at the best unacceptable. Last month I ordered another box of Van Holten Pickles, this time from Food Service Direct. The price was the same as other venors however the shipping was a few dollars more. The pickles arrived approx. 3 to 4 days later and was packaged so that no damage could be sustained. Food Service's service was outstanding.
