Ordered same day delivery, and even put the order in a day ahead, but flowers did not arrive. I trusted this company with something so special and time sensitive. Instead of sending my 21 year old daughter a birthday card in the mail, I ordered flowers and a card. The kicker is, my daughter is a nun in a cloistered monastery. We miss her so much and wanted to surprise her on her birthday. Cloistered nuns don’t use phones (except for emergency), nor do they use personal email addresses. By the time the company confirmed the flowers were not delivered, I had no other way, on such short notice, to let my daughter know we were all thinking of her and miss her dearly.
I was told they would refund the same day delivery fee ($3.16) and deliver the next day. I guess we’ll see if they are able to deliver tomorrow. I was told sometimes the local florists don’t have the flowers in. No one offered to reach out to the local florist to see what went wrong. The daytime customer service was helpful. The evening crew ( I spoke to three different people) were pretty detached and didn’t seem to care.
Time sensitive flower delivery is about so much more than flowers. It’s about making sure the recipient knows they are loved on the day they will need it. This company isn’t concerned when they don’t fulfill what they promised or what you paid for. I would go directly to a local florist.
