As a 30+ year customer, I ordered flowers for my niece and sister for their birthdays.
My niece's didn't arrive Monday, and they didn't even notify me there would be a delay. I checked with her today - No Delivery...2 days late! I called them - they said they would deliver today and give me 30% off my order. I said "OK"
I got an email showing far less than 30% off and the wrong order number. I called to see what was going on. They said they can only refund off the flower portion of the order...not the mylar balloon, shipping or tax. To me, 30% off meant "off the total". To them, it meant a lot less! But, they didn't say that when I agreed to a 30% refund.
To top if off, I got a massive runaround from customer service. After 30+ years of using FTD, I doubt I will ever use it again. I can't trust them anymore.
(And, for the record - my niece's birthday present is still not delivered...2 days late. If it's not there today, I'm just filing a dispute for the total with my credit card company. Every call with their support takes 20+ minutes. Not worth it.)
