I ordered a Buddleia Davidii in early April, paying extra for a more established plant to replace one we lost in the Winter storms. Choosing Gardening Express was my first big mistake.
It took Gardening Express until the very end of May to finally deliver the order, after the first one was lost by the parcel handler two weeks before.
The communication from Gardening Express was pathetic throughout and it always took me chasing them to get any information and even when they did finally respond, it was clear they simply didn't care. Eventually, they offered a refund or replacement for the lost plant, and as the plant was still needed, I opted for replacement. That was my second big mistake.
The plant delivered should never have been despatched as it was in a horrendous condition; badly wilted and covered in diseased leaves.
I contacted Gardening Express to complain, attaching several photos of the plant so they could see what had been sent. My complaint included a request a refund. In true form, Gardening Express have totally ignored my contact and I've been left feeling totally ripped off.
Given the level of competition out there, it surprises me the total lack of care or commitment to giving good service shown by Gardening Express. I would recommend anyone to avoid them like the plague and shop elsewhere.
