Initially, there was an old, overweight woman who berated me about the fact my husband was unable to come. Telling me, "YOU CAN GO AWAY MAD", but all shelters require the entire household in attendance. Thank goodness for Eve. I was made to feel welcome and eventually left with the most lovely adult cat. Thank Eve.
