Do not use this company. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company in the UK. Waited for 48 minutes to speak to someone, and eventually hung up. There is a reason why their quotes seem good. They do not care about their customers at all. I waited nearly 30 minutes to report an incident. I waited another 25 minutes to speak about it the next day. I paid to have a courtesy car, and today, 7 full days after the incident I am still without one. Therefore they take money and do not honour that commitment. Does not seem remotely an acceptable way to behave. I am now waiting for their head office to pick up. They have just ended the call after 12 minutes holding. Believe me, at an already worrying time, Sheila's Wheels are NOT there for you. They are only there for the money. There is obviously a real shortage of staff, and I feel sorry for the staff in their call centre who are probably tearing their hair out at customers complaining about wait times. This company does not remotely fulfil the obligations of a car insurance company. I am reporting them to the Financial Ombudsman and am contacting Money Supermarket to alert them as to how truly awful Sheila's Wheels is. Please don't waste your money. You are NOT getting a good value car insurance policy. You are being exploited.
