DO NOT USE SHEILA'S WHEELS. Absolutely appalling IN EVERY WAY. It's a case of Joseph's dream in the Bible. I had seven fat years with Sheila's Wheels when everything was outstaningly good, until February 2024, when my seven lean years began. They increased my premium by 77% despite there being no change in my circumstances: no claims, no change of address and no change to my car. When I tried to phone them, I could not find a phone number on their website and had to search around on the web to find one. I called three times and the phone was never answered; I was put on hold, with some dreadful music in the background. In one case I was on hold for 47 minutes before I hung up. I then used a comparison website and I managed to get a hugely cheaper quote. I took it immediately and sent a complaint to them via their website - I had to type it out. After that they couldn't have been better. I got two phone calls from their Customer Care department - very polite, but all I got was the usual corporate claptrap as an explanation - but that's what you get from Customer Care with most other companies. So - to sum up - they treat customers who left them and complained far, far better than customers who are still with them.
