Vaughan phoned to check his visit was still OK and he arrived within 30 minutes. He quietly worked at the faulty computer until eventually announcing he'd corrected the problem and that there were still 15 minutes of my one hour left - was there anything else he could attend to? As it turned out there wasn't but I certainly appreciated the honesty and the offer - there could easily have been. He also informed me he'd updated some basic systems and then offered to clear some unused software. That too was appreciated.
