We booked an air-ticket and they told us that we would have to pay AGAIN by bank transfer, even though the payment had gone through, claiming that it was not secure. Our bank assured us that if the payment was not secure it wouldn't have gone through. We suspected fraud and wanted to cancel the ticket, but they told us that in order to get a partial refund (they would withhold GBP200 admin fee) we needed to PAY AGAIN the whole amount by bank transfer. Else they would not issue us the tickets and they would simply hold on to our money... We found this preposterous and complained strongly. After speaking to fraud agencies we bumped to a very helpful employee in GetaFlight, Richard Neeson, who made sure that we got a full refund and it all ended well. We are grateful to him. The original tickets did end up costing us GBP200 more because of the delay in booking them due to the turmoil, but we were relieved to have gotten the original amount back at least.
