A surprise French air traffic control strike meant our flight was late landing. We learnt about the possibility of delay just before take off. We advised our Get Transfer driver immediately. He saw the message but did nothing about it. We landed over an hour late, the driver had left and we ended paying for a transfer service (EUR280!!!) that the driver didn't deliver and we didn't receive. I understand technically that the policies of Get Transfer let them get away with this but the reality is anyone with a a need to cancel, delay or amend their booking within 48 hours cannot do so. This must happen often so there are no doubt many disgruntled people.It is balatant money-grabbing. Some customer care and better options from Get Transfer would win them more business as opposed to turning it away.
