When I rented the car in Faro I had taken out excess insurance with Rentacar. When I picked the car up they charged me €61 for additional insurance for 4 days, knowing I already had insurance. They told me it was for petrol and a holding fee. The paperwork was in Portuguese, so took Sabina’s word.
When I rang them they hung up on me. Stating they would not refund the money.
I will never use Goldcar again.
