Crooked Company
When I collected the car virtually every panel had damage so impossible to completely check.On return there was nobody available to check so I left the keys in the drop box.I was subsequently sent a damage report which showed a minor mark which looks like a dirt mark on one of the very few panels that was not damaged.I was also invoiced for 126.62 for the damage which is an absolute joke.I then received another invoice with an additional charge of 41.32 administration charge a total of 167.94
From review sites Goldcar appear to be crooked in their actions even though their website shows a very high approval rating.I have rented from Goldcar regularly for 18 years and when I have caused damage I have gladly accepted responsibility.
Needless to say I will never use the company again and will spread the word amongst all the organisations I am involved with in Spain as well as review sites.
I now understand why the queues at the counter in Alicante are a lot shorter than they used to be.
As a follow up to add insult to injury when I checked my credit card bill they have taken 176.62. they are crooks.
