I rented a Kia Niro EV with a range of 400 kilometers. The car was unavailable, and I was offered a higher-category car, alleging it was better for traveling long distances and saving gas. This information was given to me by the representative who served me at the counter and the one who gave me the vehicle (MG plug-in). It turned out that they gave me wrong information and I spent a lot of money on gas. Of course, I had to pay extra for renting this car. I requested compensation, which the company denied. Also, the company did not accept its responsibility. Goldcar's web page regarding making reservations online is neither friendly nor effective. Chat and telephone verification do not work, at least from the USA, and I had to call from the USA to Spain several times to make and pay for the reservation. I do not recommend this company; many car rental options exist in Spain. Usually, the cheapest is the most expensive and less reliable.
