The car we had just rented broke down at 23.00 after the office had shut. We had to call the breakdown service and eventually got a taxi on to our holiday let. The next day they refused to send a new car and we had to take a bus to Kerkyra to get a new car. They refused to compensate us for our taxi and bus (70 Euros) nor for our inconvenience. My advice would be rent with a reputable car hire company, never with Gold Car
