Staff that do not check/refuse to check the cars at point of hire and then make sure they charge you for damage on return. I had just brought back a car and signed the return, Being offered the same car again to take out I had no problem with this. Sergio should have transferred the damage to the new contract but he told me to just go! In some ways this made sense. I had the car checked on return and signed for no damage but OMG Satan was waiting for me when I returned the car the second time with no further damage than had been signed off already. He refused to listen to me, refused to look at the previous information and damage. I tried to show him the pictures he was taking of the damage were listed on the previous damage report but he refused to look and said just sort it out with customer services! Bullied me into signing the return, therefore, accepting the damage I guess? When I said I did not agree as I had not damaged the vehicle he shouted at me saying if I did not sign, he would state that I refused to sign. So here I am, as I did not cause the damage, I cannot claim through my insurance. My credit card company will not reimburse as I authorised the transaction (Sainsbury unfortunately! Barclaycard, would not have been a problem) and now I am at the mercy of the Goldcar customer services team, who don't return emails, charge premium rate on their customer 'helpline' and refuse to communicate in English. Now just trying to find a solution online through WHICH? All because Sergio could not be bothered to transfer some information! Complete nightmare! Twitter next! But who has the time for this?
