Very disappointed today, shop was quiet with 3 members of staff stood chatting near the tills, not one of them acknowledged us with a smile or a hello when we arrived. Went upstairs for a coffee and snack, asked for brie and cranberry panini, without bacon, which they said was fine. Firstly apparently card payment didnt go through though they said go and take a seat. then had to come to table to try again, a little embarrassing, brought panini-with bacon! I dont eat meat, took it away and back within seconds, I think they just whipped the bacon out? Not acceptable if they did. No knives and forks in box on table, went to get some but none by the counter, had to wait then ask for some and wait for them to be brought to us. Neither of us enjoyed the quality of our paninis, or the whole experience. Downstairs again, difficult to engage with staff , with one girl particularly unhelpful, young girl with an accent. I dont think we, though having been regular customers, will be returning.
