Disappointed with HelloFresh and their Referral Program I’m really disappointed with how HelloFresh handles their referral program. Unlike most companies that automatically apply referral credits, HelloFresh expects you to click a button in an email to "accept" the credit. If you miss it or it goes to spam, tough luck — you don’t get the reward. It feels like a sneaky tactic to avoid paying out what they owe. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are thousands of unclaimed credits just sitting there because of this strange system. To make matters worse, when I reached out to customer service, the response was abrupt and unhelpful. I was basically told “it is what it is,” with no effort to resolve the issue or show any kind of goodwill. Not the kind of service you expect from a company like this. If you’re using HelloFresh, be very careful — check your emails constantly and don’t assume they’ll do the right thing automatically. Overall, very poor experience and a real shame.
