On 11/16/23 i put $40 on my cash app card and reserved an Uber to pick me up from my home the following morning. After making my reservation Uber out $36.97 on hold. The next day after my driver picked me up and dropped me off my card was charged 2 more times for the same amount and then i received a notification saying my card was declined. Then a few hours later my card was charged 2 more times. The next day my card was charged 2 more times and then two days later Uber tried to charge my bank card, 2 credit cards and a card that belonged to a friend that i had listed in my Uber forms of payment. No one gave Uber permission to charge anybody card nor any of my other cards. During the time these charges were being made to my cards i was in mid conversation with Uber customer service. Now last night on 11/23/23 my cash app card was refunded the $36.98 that was ORIGINALLY put on hold when i made my reservation. So I’m trying to understand whyyyyyyyyyyy did Uber NOT see the charge on hold on my cash app and whyyyy Uber felt like it was okay to charge a card that did not belong to me when from the very beginning the money for my trip was already on hold ? Make it make sense!!! UBER IS A THEIF AND IF YOU DONT WATCH YOUR TRANSACTIONS YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!
