I joined Uber one because it said I get 3 free months and 50% off my first ride each month for theee months. So my first ride of the month was $19 and I should have got $9.50 credited. Well, it never happened and even after speaking to over 100 agents, spending a total of 26 hours on a phone, after being transferred to a “specialized “ department that handles this over 80 times (and the only thing they all “specialize” in is hanging up the phone), I have requested to speak to a superior over 30 times and get told that I am speaking, already, to the highest authority it still has not been credited! In fact, they said that unless I have a screenshot of the offer that they sent to me, they will not honor it! I have been lied to by many support agents regarding the horrific manner in which I have been treated. My inquiries quickly turned from getting what I am rightfully owed to why would they allow the agent to treat customers in such an abusive manner not paying attention to the facts or morals! They would hear none of it as they only demanded the screenshot if I want them to make good on it. It has become a challenge for me to get my offer credited and I can go the long haul (none of these number I give are exaggerated at all) but knowing now that they all have the same “canned” scripts and if no script is found they simply hang up on you it is painfully clear that Uber has no interest in honoring the offer. It seems to me that not only is it a immoral practice but very well could be against the law. They should have record of what they sent to me. So, I hate Ubers guts and it is the most earned hatred I have! Cheats! Liars! Con Artist! UBER!
