I’m only doing Uber to pay off debt and its getting increasingly harder to work for Uber and the customer service is horrible. Within the past week I’ve had numerous reservations come through with incorrect information. Once the AI assistant amended my fair, the second time a Supervisor said I wasn’t the only driver complaining about the same issue and she adjusted the rate. Now this is the third time talking to them this week about the same issue and now no one wants to assist because on their end I accepted the trip at the rate they paid me. You MUST take screenshots of reservations so that you can prove to them their system is incorrect! Its like they are doubling the trip fare to make the reservation enticing for the driver, we accept the trip and expect a certain fair. We then only get a portion of the promised fair! Isnt this false advertisement? Isnt this like being employed, working at an agreed amount rate then getting your pay and its less than whats agreed upon? Can anything be done about this?
