Paid for the car in advance, prior to my trip to Ireland two weeks ago. Was notified by Hertz when we got there, that they were putting a hold on my debit card, in case I get into an accident. Drove tne car well and returned it will a full tank of petrol. I got home and they had charged me an additional £249, when the car hire was £127 in the UK as well as local fees. Today I was notified that the additional payment was for 'super coverage, comfort pack wheel/tire cover, fees, and surcharges, which were not included in the prepayment' which was not told to me and was not agreed to. Now I have to fight them through my bank and will never hire from Hertz again!
