I was rented an EV (not requested). I had misgivings at rental office but was told chargers were available everywhere, not told they are inaccessible unless you have an account with a local energy company. Impossible for an American in Europe without a cellphone that works.
Basically ruined my vacation in Tenerife that I had planned for many month.
Unable to tour the island. I had to spend 3 hours a day in a supermarket parking lot using a free charger just to increase battery 6%.
