Hanaja Installers, a subcontractor for Home Depot, installed doors at my home. The installer asked what did it want to do with the doors he removed . I told him to put them on the side of my garage. After the installer left I noticed he put the old wood trim on the curb. There were several nails sticking out of the wood. the old wood was blown into the middle of drive by. I came home from work not knowing that wood was there and ran over the nails and had 2 flat tires. the installer simply lied to Home Depot and RF Installations that I requested the debris be placed on the curb. Common sense would say I would not request any debris placed on the curb but more importantly, he never asked. Home Depot and RF Installations do not get the bigger picture. Whatever if a person had gotten hurt on the nails. Contractors should remove any debris and not assume it will be pick up the city. If I lived in the county with public trash pick up, would he have placed the debris on the curb. Probably not. This contract simply lied and Home Depot honored his lie.
