The AI wrongfully removes my accurate and polite comments. Here is my comment to post: This is not capitalism, but instead a racket: this is how HD CEO "earns" his 15 million+ compensation, a micro mechanism: we just bought a major appliance, and while HD usually accepts weeks of return, this one was... 48 hours! It was a GE dryer. The delivery guy refused to install it and requested we alter the connection of the previous (also standard, Samsung) dryer to the wall. So in the first 48 hours it was not even plugged in. Then it works but leaves burnt smell on the clothes. HD refused even a partial refund and also refused a return with merchandise credit to buy a different one. They said contact GE. GE sent a guy who confirmed the smell but said it is "normal" from a new motor and will dissipate in two weeks. Then he realized at the moment of his visit it was exactly two weeks. So he said "two months" instead. Obviously untrue, and even if it were true it would mean the dryer would spoil our clothes for two months, a 1k major appliance? He also said all dryers are like this. It was untrue, because our previous Samsung dryer was perfect from the start. If it were a transient with use motor issue, why would not they run it at a factory? Do not buy major appliances from HD (unless an unconditional extended return policy specified, which is not the case for most of their appliances). Do not buy GE. But Samsung, in our experience.

Their warranty service is awful. It’s through Allstate protection but when you need a service you have to contact Allstate and then you have to sign up and go through square trade. It was such a fiasco. The repair man didn’t fix my washer correctly so I had to go back to Allstate through square trade and their expedited service is a joke. It took three weeks to get my washer repaired. I will never buy an appliance from Home Depot again.

Home Depot, Hunter Douglas/Kirsch Blinds are responsible for this disaster. Each entity blames the other. The mechanical shade hasn’t worked from day 1. It’s been 2 mos. Home Depot installers left out the part that a charging wand was supposed to come with the purchase. This shade isn't fully charged b/c the lithium battery in the shade can’t be shipped charged b/c of fire issues...yes, a shade that can catch on fire in my home. I see a class action lawsuit in their future.

Very poor customer service. I had to go online to get a small cabinet which they did not have in stock. I placed the order Aug 4 and the computer came back with a Aug 29th date. Sounded unusual for something that they had 97 in stock. I had purchased a few earlier two Larger cabinets and it only took a week. I keep checking the tracking a it was sitting in some warehouse in Tx for 10 Days, so I called customer service, they put out a check and it came back that it looked it was lost, so they reorder lt with the same order number. The order continued to show the same Tx location until yesterday, when stated it was out for delivery in some city 3 hours away. So now phone calls started, until they said they found it in my store and I could come and pick it up. Guess what? No cabinets and my delivery date now is Sep 19. They said they reordered it. No attemot to get here asap, no help at all. My concern is will be here on the 19th

If I could give a zero I would…the worst delivery I have ever experienced. Cabinets delivered on the back of a pickup truck. The guy had no dolly and I as a seventy years old man had to help the guy take these 2 hundred pound cabinets off the back of a truck.

They came today to install our dishwasher. They were very dirty, careless and didn’t know how to do their job .They didn't do what we wanted. When I told them to do it, they did whatever they wanted. They didn't even straighten and level it. It's crooked. One side is outside the cabinet and the other side is far inside and separate from the cabinet. We were not satisfied with their work at all..they cut the existing drain pipe so short that it didn’t come out of the sink straight I am so surprised that Home Depot has such a careless and incompetent contractors

I will never order anything online through home depot again. They used u p s delivery. U p s gave us the wrong item from their truck. I could not get anyone to fix the problem. Do yourself a favor, just use amazon.

Ordered a couple of parts for a sink replacement I was planning for this weekend. Opened the package and the new disposal flange was missing. Contacted Home Depot and the said they would just refund my purchase. When asked how I could get the part for my weekend project, they said they would not reship the part. A refund is the only option. Thank god for Amazon. I ordered the part immediately from Amazon and it will be here tomorrow...in time for my project. Don't plan on ordering from Home Depot in the future.

I've been doing business with them for a long time and I've never had an issue until recently when I say a long time I'm talking 25 years. But when I needed them the most they let me down. I ordered a bathtub and it was not a special order as I understand special order. About a day after I ordered it I decided to cancel the order but it had already shipped. So it shows up at my house a few days later, and I need to return it. After reading the return policy I realized I could probably just take it back to the local store. Well they would not accept it. So I had to initiate a return online and a truck would come pick it up from a secondary vendor of course. Well the secondary vendor was supposed to contact me within 48 hours and they never did. After many calls to customer service they finally picked it up about 10 days later than they should have. Normally this wouldn't be a problem except I am trying to move and I needed the space in my garage. Then I was also having them install a window for me. Will they show up today to put the window in and it's the wrong size! This is after about a four week wait. So now I have to wait for a new window to be made and my house was supposed to be on the market by the end of next week! So yeah when I needed them the most they gave me the most stress and let me down! I might buy paint or something from them but I'm not going to have any kind of major purchases anymore.

Many things, they were supposed to come and finish hooking up the refrigerator no show waiting all day were supposed to be there at 8 am very disappointed I wish we never bought the product from them

I wanted to get windows installed soil scheduled with Home Depot. Been was our sales guy. Took our money real fast but it's been three months.. No windows... No Ben. Will be seeking legal remedies if necessary to get money back and cancel. There's a Lowe's opening up near us. Maybe we'll have better luck with them.

I was greeted by Katie as we walked in she is friendly and professional so when we were ready to checked out we went to the pro desk where cashier Katie was, she is very knowledgeable and made sure I had everything I needed asking me questions about my project. We're redoing our garage putting in a concrete floor and rebuilding walls. She made sure I got my pro number in and called for a loader, I didn't have to wait they got me loaded out right away. We've been to Home Depot many time in the last several month for our remodel on both our house and garage.

I had a reservation paid $150 for a 12 foot box truck from Home Depot Hall Road. An hour before received an email that “of course I didn’t see” that said “sorry canceling your order. We don’t have the truck” (What??) . Then Hall Road said that Home Depot Sterling Heights had one left. I called personally spoke to the man he said “I will hold it for a half an hour. My son left. I called back again, to make sure and he might’ve been three minutes lateand said my son should be walking in at any moment and he said “ yes I see the hold, no problem. Five minutes later, my son calls me and says this guy here says “sorry no truck???? “ Just ridiculous. I was like am I being Punk’d…… I called back again and I said I don’t understand what is happening? In the six minutes, also he was waiting in line for 15 minutes at the counter by the way…… But the truck is now gone?? It’s just unprofessional and I was still very nice…ugh very disappointing, and a serious waste of time of our morning trying to get out of here.

Do not buy anything here go to Lowe’s! I purchased high end LG kitchen package that is still under warranty. My $1800.00 refrigerator/freezer has not worked in 3 weeks. They replaced multiple parts multiple times yet still broken. They absolutely do not care after they have there money.

Purchased over the range microwave to be installed. Installers came and said they couldn't because of Microwave design which was bafoonery. He wanted to leave microwave and us find our own installer which we refused and got entire refund and went to LOEWS who came out and installed less than 30 minutes.

Homedepot delivers suck Once you purchase an appliance They don’t care about you anymore And if you ask for help They always say it’s not on their hands to help you out I am having a hard time getting my appliances delivered Homedepot is more worrying about collecting your money then your satisfaction

They delivered my bedroom furniture, they left outside in a rainy, day before I contacted Home Depot spook with customer service,it’s supposed to be delivery an installation. But the only person showed up just the truck driver with no helpers. I am very disappointed because from morning until afternoon my furniture sitting outside until I could hire 2 guy moved them from outside to my apartment door!

I wish I could say I was happy but after paying $6,000 our closet is still unfinished. A month after they came to install but found everything was measured incorrectly we now must wait another 5 weeks for proper sized shelving. No offer of a discount . Not even an apology. I will not use Home Depot again for my needs.
