Just purchased a 8x8 tent for my sons football game’s surprised to see price markup difference on the website it says 80$ I payed 116$ in store when I asked cashier why it was such a difference she said she didn’t know that happens a lot ? I have seen this tent at other stores for a lot less I wish I would’ve received better customer service at sunrise home-depot today basically fell as if I got ripped off.

I ordered flooring online from Home Depot and paid extra for special delivery expected July 15th. I’m 9 months pregnant, my husband just had surgery, and I had contractors scheduled the next day to begin installation—everything was coordinated around this delivery. Instead, I spent two full days chasing down answers. I called six times, was given inaccurate delivery windows, and never received clear updates. On July 16th, I was told I was “next in line” and that I’d get a call from the driver. The app even showed real-time tracking. Then it suddenly switched to “missed delivery” with no call, no attempt, and no explanation. I’ve spent hours on hold, had multiple calls dropped when asking for a supervisor, and still received no follow-up—even after being told the issue was escalated. I was promised discounts (which barely cover the added stress and wasted time), but no one seems to actually be able to resolve anything. This has caused major delays, financial inconvenience, and emotional stress during an already vulnerable time. Home Depot’s delivery coordination and communication systems are broken. I will never order from them again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else do either

I paid $120 for a scheduled delivery from Home Depot, plus a $30 "express" fee to ensure it would arrive this morning between 10AM and noon. At 9:15AM — before the delivery window even began — I received a message saying the delivery had “failed” and needed to be rescheduled. I’ve now spent over 45 minutes on hold with customer service, after several failed attempts to speak to someone. No one can tell me what happened, and no one seems able to help. To make things even worse, when I tried to cancel the order, I was told that I have to go in person to the store — which is 45 minutes from my home. Seriously? In 2025? This has been an absolute nightmare. I planned my whole day around this delivery, and now I’ve lost time, money, and patience. I’ll be shopping at Lowe’s from now on — at least they treat customers with basic respect and don’t leave them stranded with zero accountability. Do better, Home Depot. Much better.

On Friday, July 11th at 4:10 pm, I purchased 20 bags of brown mulch and I was told bt the cashier to go around the side to pick them up. He said someone would be there to load them for us. We waited there for someone to load 20 bags of mulch in our truck. After waited there for 5 minutes. I walked inside to the cashier and he said that someone would be outside shortly. I waited for an additional 15 minutes. So I got frustrated and starting loading them in my car myself. After I had almost finished loading them in my car. Two Home Depot employees came out after 34 minutes and helped me load the last 4 bags of mulch in my car. Poorest customer service ever. They didn't even offer any kind of compensation for the time I waited.

I was told in the store during the purchase of the refrigerator that delivery could be after 5pm. The delivery truck showed up at 11:40 am. Called customer service and was told no delivery after 4. If my wife didn't love that refrigerator I would take time off and get my refund today. Now the refrigerator is on the truck the rest of the day. There's no way they can come back today. I am done with any type of major purpose. Unless I have to, I probably will never be in one of there stores again.

Bought a refrigerator. The refrigerator arrived on time. So this is where the frustration comes. They said they would install the waterline to our fridge. When the guys showed up they said no, they don't and left. So we got a plumber to do it. The plumber came and did his job but there was a problem. The idiots who delivered our refrigerator forgot to leave the waterline tube that was supposed to come with the refrigerator so the plumber couldn't finish the job. We called home Depot and they apologized and said they would come back and INSTALL the waterline for us. On the day they were supposed to show up they didn't. I was understanding since they might be backed up because it was Monday, the week after July 4th so maybe they're busy, who cares. The next day, nothing, so we called them and they said we never scheduled for a monday... Okay? Whatever let's just schedule another day then. 2 days later a representative for home Depot shows up with our waterline, hands it to us and leaves. I asked him he's supposed to install it and the guy said installation wasn't scheduled... Are you kidding me? If I needed just the waterline I'd order it from Amazon or whatever. So now it's been 2 weeks since we had our new refrigerator with no functioning water. we called them and they said they can't get anyone out to us for another 4 days, frustrated we wanted a refund but weren't able to. So we reluctantly asked for them to send someone to install the waterline and then suddenly its 6 days instead of 4.... What? How is that possible. Within the same phone call that lasted not even 10 minutes home Depot's schedule filled up 2 more days?.... You know what? Whatever. I don't care. Moving on, anything I need in the future I'll be buying from Menards. I wanted to leave a review on home Depot's website but after reading their rules for posting a review on their website it says they reserve the right to modify, or delete any reviews made. Jeez, no wonder their review rating is 4.5 and not below 2. What a scummy move.

I bought a storm door not even a year has passed. my door closer broke caused by a strong wind, called and talked to Sandra ext 415 in San Antonio, she told me that yes I still have warranty but due to the fact that the door was opened when the damages occurred the warranty will not cover those damages. still confused by her decision in telling me that the warranty is not covering damages..

Wish I read these reviews before I bought my refrigerator at Home Depot. What a mess. Home Depot has no control over the delivery outfit. I waited from 8am to 6pm. was watching the tracking map, I was next. then the tracking quit. a phone call "not coming" They were 2 miles away. My food was in a cooler from 8am to 6pm. Old refer was sitting aside. AND it's Saturday, next delivery on Tuesday. Sooo now I need to reinstall the old refrigerator and get what food made it back in. Will not buy appliances from Home Depot, going Best Buys. They deliver and install on time. Home Depot told me Too Bad.

Home Depot Delivery of refrigerators to Key Largo is terrible with a Capital T. Just wanted to share this. I love Home Depot but…The 4th delivery attempt for my refrigerator yesterday didn’t arrive because it wasn’t on the truck. They were going to reach out to today to reschedule. Didn’t happen yet. The first time the wouldn’t change the doors and told me that HD would send someone on a chargeable call. The second time they changed the doors but the doors wouldn’t close. The 3rd time they said they would change the doors but that even if the doors didn’t close I would have to keep it. How can HD hire delivery people for refrigerators and they not know how to fix the doors?

Home Depot emailed us that our two appliances were in. When the delivery truck showed up they only had one appliance. We had already removed the doors off the old appliances to make the exchange even easier. One of the delivery guys complained of being hurt. Bottom line they delivered nothing. Will NEVER shop Home Depot again

Do not purchase anything from Home Depot if you value your sanity We used to love Home Depot for the home we built and our architectural business. We recently purchased an LG washer and dryer. The installer delivered it, left it in the hallway, and then the installer came back five days later to install it. After installation (which they didn't call us in advance for; they showed up at 7:30 am unannounced), the dryer didn't work. The installer installed it and then said we have to have a drain pan installed. Our plumber did that at a cost of $300. After about 15 calls, Home Depot said they no longer cover it after 48 hours and we have to contact the manufacturer. It would not have been possible to see that the dryer didn't work sitting in the hallway uninstalled. LG eventually came after we spoke with them several times. It turns out the Home Depot installer (Pro Home Services) broke the gas valve during installation. If you value your time, piece of mind, sanity or well-being, purchase from anyone other than Home Depot. Truly deplorable customer service that no one should ever experience.

Christiansburg Virginia store, ... John in the paint department was very helpful with solving a matching color situation I had today, he suggested the best way to solve this concern and provided the paint match that I needed. I used to work for that other company, but have been an HD customer since moving to VA in 2007. Thanks, Bill

I like Home Depot. BUT, I just found out that they are great at sales, but lacking desperately in customer service if something goes wrong with an Online purchase. I purchased two tools and accessories for both, online. Soon received one tool and the accessories for that tool, but no information on the second. I waited 3 more days. Finally I went online to follow up, find out what happened. This is where I ran into serious time consuming issues, as I simply tried to say, What happened? After working through the web site like a game, you pick the wrong direction, you go back to square one, I found Customer Service. Now I have to call, or email, or chat. I chose chat. It told me to Text XXXXX. So I texted the number. It finally took 35 minutes to point out that my purchase on this date, for this much, was partially filled, but the tool I needed most was not included. It was in shipping, I was told. So I ask that my money be refunded. The tool showed up on my doorstep the next morning. Home Depot needs to learn how Amazon handles returns.

Home Depot delivery/installation service is the worst I've ever seen. Absolutely horrible. Appliance delivery and install was a nightmare from start to finish. Tried again with a shower door. Same horrible experience . Never again

Home Depot is superior to their counterparts. How are they superior? They answer their phone, they speak with you and discuss the situation and give products that actually concentrate on your issue. They wait until you are satisfied before asking is there anything else on today. Thank you for contacting Home Depot for your special projects.

They don’t train their staff and they don’t answer their phones. I’d like to purchase blinds from them but how can I when I can’t get the help I need?

Store staff was great at the time of purchase. Delivery has been a nightmare. Will never order from HD again. The company who delivers is incompetent. While attempting to deliver my appliances, they brought too big of a truck for my road. They got stuck and needed to be towed out. Then they rescheduled two days later and came back with the same size truck, which again, caused them to leave without delivering. Keep in mind I’m without appliances because they want things disconnected and empty before they come. Total lack of communication at the trucking company. No ability to anticipate problems at all. And they damaged property in the process. And by the way, Costco, Amazon, Fed Ex, Best Buy UPS and every other company deliver here regularly, without incident.

I ordered stackable drawers that were only offered online. I was supposed to receive them three days after my order. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting for half of my order. I will never buy from the Home Depot online again. If they don’t have it in the store, I’ll get it somewhere else.

Did a curb side pick up for an air conditioner and the box was damaged, the staff member said “the ac is packed really well with styrofoam it’s fine”. Well I got home and the whole front of the unit is cracked like the box was dropped. Of course there were no more in stock for an exchange. The most I was offered was 50$ off of a larger unit which is still 80$ over the price range i had. My son has asthma and I had no choice but to buy it. TERRIBLE customer service, damaged boxes should be checked before being brought out to a customer.
