On June 23rd, 2026 we bought an LG washer & dryer from Home Depot. On our first wash the washer made clunking sounds – like there was loose change inside or a zipper on some clothes. That was not the case! We called Home Depot and were told it’s not their problem – it’s LG’s problem. We called LG and the excuses were abundant. Eventually, two guys from LG showed up a few days later. All’s we heard from them, over and over, was that they are not technicians and any weird noise or problem had to be handled by technicians. We again called LG and the excuses were aplenty. Bottom line is that no technicians would be dispatched. What of the extended warranty we paid for. The woman from LG had no record we had an extended warranty. We had to scan and submit the proof of purchase of the extended warranty to the email address we were given. Back to square one. Next, we were told to provide the serial number. That same woman told us it’s not a valid number. We again had to take a picture, scan it, and submit it to the email address. The washer was then verified. Now we were told to take a video, with sound, of the washer making this noise. Until then, no technician would be dispatched. She then ended the call. What excuse is next? What hoop are we supposed to jump through next? So much for buying an extended warranty when nobody is willing to help. In the meantime, we are without a washing machine. Additionally, the woman from LG was short with us and rather rude. How dare we complain of an LG product having problems – warranty or not! We can’t return the washer to Home Depot because they have a 48-hour return policy on LG products. We were told by that woman at LG that we can’t return the washer as LG has a 14-day return policy. So, here we sit with a washer that doesn’t work right and our extended warranty means SQUAT!

We ordered a set of new whirlpool washer and dryer. . they told us it would take a week. They showed up delivered the appliances scraped my door jam down to the wood underneath, also damaging the dryer vent I thought ok not a huge deal but I did mention it to them no sorry no nothing... I hooked everything up and salad they never installed the dryer legs that was difficult but finally got it done. As I was doing that I noticed a deep scratch across the front bottom of the dryer and washer too . Come to find out through further investigation the deeply cut into the appliances on all 3 slides with their razor knife opening the box .. unbelievable!!?? Called CS they scheduled a replacement delivery for the next week. Ok Well guess what.. YEAH they were the same morons that damaged the original order. This time it wasn't as. Bad though they cut threw the box again and damaged a new product??? When confronted their only reply was do you want to send it back again? I said IDK let me call CS and eventually after 45 minutes on phone they offered a 25% discount ,do we took it .. After all that They apparently Cannot deliver new products without damaging them on delivery. Quality control is extinct. Never ordering anything from them ever. Customers Beware!!!!

Do yourself a real big favor and never order anything from Home Depot specially, the appliance delivery I’m still in the middle of a nightmare. It took them over a week to deliver my stackable washer and dryer and when the washer got installed, it was broken and the truck driver refused to take the machine back as he is supposed to, according to the sales girl. Now my renters have no working washer and dryer. Now we have to wait longer. This is the worst ever.

Home Depot customer service is as good as their app. It sucks, their customer service people are far too limited to be actual help to customers. If their loss prevention is run the same way then I guess that’s why so much product is stolen from them. I even reported a woman walking right in front of me that had put a Quick Set lock in her purse, I pointed right at her and told them she is stealing and they did nothing. The honest Home Depot customer shoulders the blame for for the dishonest. The biggest part of the problem is at the top.

The tracking for home depot's delivery is horrible. It has a big bright box that says track your order. Every time you try to track your order. It says bad error. All you will ever know about your deliveries is the expected day

I spoke with a driver who advised me that they were 5 minutes away. I let him know my 40 year old son was waiting, as I am out of town. Before 10:30am, of a 10am - 2:00pm window the driver advised my son he canceled the order and to reschedule, then he left, and I was dealing with customer service about my concern for the driver leaving and refusing to install the stove. Apparently, customer service is not about the customer.

We are still trying to get a refrigerator delivered and installed in our home in Schaumburg, Illinois. When the delivery guys arrived, they determined that our water valve for the water dispenser leaked. We never even noticed since it only leaks when it is shut off and it's always been on. They said they couldn't install and threw our now unpacked new refrigerator with no protection, back onto the truck. The scheduler said we have to wait over a week for the next delivery while the new refrigerator bangs around in the truck all that time. They said there is nothing they can do because the computer doesn't know how to provide any better customer service. This is our second nightmare delivery through Home Depot. We should have learned our lesson after the first mess.

I ordered a bag of Moss OUT on June 14, then I received a message from Home Depot, saying that the delivery would be delayed by 1-3 days. I did not receive the product or any updated information about my order. Then I called its customer service number on June 22. They said the order cannot be processed and asked me to cancel the order. No apology, no compensation.

We purchased a frameless shower door installation through Home Depot because we believed Home Depot would stand behind the project and provide support if issues arose. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The installation was subcontracted to a third-party installer, and the project ultimately required multiple installation attempts, replacement of the glass door, additional modifications, and months of effort before the shower stopped leaking. What was most disappointing was Home Depot's lack of involvement throughout the process. As the customer, I paid Home Depot for the project, so when problems developed, I repeatedly contacted the Home Depot Custom Order Specialist to keep her informed and seek assistance. Each time, I was simply referred back to the subcontractor. I explained that I understood the subcontractor was performing the work, but my agreement and payment were with Home Depot. Despite multiple conversations over several months, Home Depot never took ownership of the issue, never provided meaningful assistance, never followed up on the status of the project, and never advocated on our behalf. Eventually, the leakage was stopped, but only after replacement of the door, correction of a threshold issue, and installation of additional components that were not part of the original design. Throughout that process, we largely felt that we were responsible for coordinating, documenting, and driving the resolution ourselves. I understand that Home Depot uses subcontractors for many installation services. However, when customers purchase a project through Home Depot, they reasonably expect Home Depot to remain engaged when significant problems arise. In our case, that support was missing. While the project was eventually completed, the overall experience left us disappointed. Based on our experience, I would not choose Home Depot for a custom shower door installation project in the future.

Deryck Roche (PISSED OFF) So the incompetent people Home Depot uses for deliveries called my Property Managements number instead of mine when the delivery truck was close to my address today June 18, 2026. They didn't call my number even though it's on the delivery order, they didn't ring the doorbell but they said they were here even though I've been looking out for them since 8 am through my front window. I need this delivered today, I took the whole day off to have this damn fridge delivered. Order #0242054550 Case # 7903271. The Customer service lady I spoke with, her name is Funke. I need this fridge today!!!!

We were anticipating the delivery and installation of some blinds, which had been purchased from Home Depot. We also scheduled delivery and installation through Home Depot. A kid shows up on the scheduled day without said blinds. He acknowledges that he was supposed to pick up the blinds but then states that he doesn’t even know which store he was supposed to pick them up from. Really??? I’m sorry, but that’s just unacceptable and inexcusable! Perhaps Home Depot should do a better job of vetting the experience level and intelligence of those they hire for installations. The kid was not even that apologetic. Terrible customer service!

Tried to call the customer service to get shower door consultation. I got nowhere as she could barely speak English. She had no clue as to what I was asking. I think home depot could do a lot better. Went somewhere else.

As a brand new Home Depot customer, I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service that I received. The delivery of my fridge was rescheduled 4 times by the delivery company for various reasons. For the first delivery attempt on Wednesday June 3rd, the wrong item was delivered and the delivery was rescheduled for June 4th. It’s also worth noting that after the first delivery attempt, I was unable to track my order or see any updated delivery dates/times in my Home Depot account. I was solely dependent on calls from the delivery team to determine when the fridge would arrive. Typically they would call with only 5 minutes notice. On the second delivery attempt, I was then told by the delivery crew that they would be unable to connect my fridge to the valve on my sink because it was not compatible with the water line they had and they would only be able to drop the fridge off or reschedule for another day. I as the customer had no way of knowing this would be an issue when the fridge was ordered, as there was nothing in the product description that indicated what type of valve was compatible with the water line. As a result my delivery was rescheduled for Saturday, June 6th while I had a new valve installed on my kitchen sink. For the third delivery attempt, I received a phone call telling me that the delivery truck had broke down and the earliest they could complete the order was Tuesday, June 9th. On June 9th, the delivery was finally completed. Home Depot did offer a 25% refund of the cost of the fridge for the delays. But between multiple calls to Home Depot customer service and taking multiple days off work for the various delivery attempts, the entire experience was extremely stressful and inconvenient for me as the customer so it still doesn’t seem like enough. Especially considering this is the first delivery I have ever had with Home Depot as a new customer. I am very reluctant to use Home Depot in the future and am more inclined to look at other companies for home appliance needs after this week long customer service nightmare.

Team would not connect the water line to refrigerator, they said it was 3 inches too short, I explained to the tech there was extra line under the sink that they just had to pull it a little, they said they could not, we didn't pay for that service. Unbelievable Lazy
