I started a flooring installation project with Home Depot for LVP. At first, the process was fine... until it wasn't. It starts with their calculation system being inflexible. They charge you for the square footage of the area plus the 10% extra materials for waste IN LABOR and they weren't upfront about it. It would be one thing if they said it straight out, but the process is hidden between the lines and you can only be sure you aren't being overcharged by religiously checking the receipts. Then, after all the order was sorted out (I started the project doing partial flooring, but later added in the whole house so I had to order more materials and delay the start date), it turns out upon delivery that the Home Depot had been backlogged on one of the LVP floorings I wanted. So, what did they do instead? They quietly tried to replace my order with a totally different LVP and prayed I wouldn't notice. Well, guess what? I noticed. My flooring installation is delayed, I have 10 boxes (it wasn't even the right number of boxes! I ordered 8 boxes from the first order, and then 3 boxes of this same LVP in the second order AND THEY DELIVERED THOSE 3 BOXES JUST FINE) of LVP that I didn't ask for. So, Home Depot is like: "Let's schedule a return pickup date so we can get those off your hands" and I'm like, "Okay" and schedule it for the next day. They reassured me that the pickup person would help move the material (because of course Home Depot packed the wrong materials at the bottom hoping we would not notice it with how heavily it was wrapped up!) but it turns out, the pickup person said it was against policy for them to touch materials that weren't part of the return! So, guess what? Me (a person that can barely lift 20 lbs) and my elderly mom had to lift about 12 of these heavy LVP boxes and move them aside for the pickup guy to even begin taking the materials! I understand their rules, but they don't even have any sympathy? This was the result of THEIR mistake and the guy doesn't even try to sound sympathetic or make an exception for clearly people that are struggling! Where has the world ended up in where someone can just look at clearly weak people struggling, when you're a strong person, and doesn't even offer to help! Get your story straight, Home Depot! I'm so upset by this whole damn experience that I don't know where to channel this frustration at.

as promised by a store associate that my delivery would arrive before 3:30 PM, as my building does not allow deliveries after that time. I specifically explained that I am leaving on an overseas trip and could not wait or reschedule. Despite this assurance, the delivery did not arrive before 3:30 PM and no proper solution was offered. This caused significant inconvenience and unnecessary stress, especially given my travel plans. I am trying to change my flight now which will cost me hundereds of dollars, and I still dont know if or when Home Depot can deliver. I am very disappointed that a commitment made in the store was not honored.

I ordered an item on the 13th with an estimate delivery date of the 20th. On the 23rd i canceled the order as it had not shipped yet but I had been charged twice. On the 25th I got an email saying it had shipped. Shipped 12 days after ordering and 5 days after the delivery date.

Never ever get anything delivered from the Home Depot appliance wise. The delivery people have no idea what they are doing. I had the first dishwasher installed incorrectly, and the guy left a big scratch on the top. The men also were very unprofessional, running in and out of my house and screaming at each other and even going to the extent of talking about the next customers medical condition in front of me. The second dishwasher that got delivered also has a big scratch on the top and the guy who installed it disconnected my pipe from my sink while installing the dishwasher drain and I was unaware so I ran the sink and completely flooded the underneath my sink. He just left it completely disconnected. Now I have to deal with an insurance claim regarding mold. Just save yourself the trouble and do NOT order a single thing from this place! You'll never even see me in a Home Depot after this experience.

We recently had our refrigerator delivered today. The installers were one hour late. Upon removing our old refrigerator, they refused to haul away our old one because of old dirt and debris. My husband started cleaning the debris while I called Home Depot in the appliance department. They referred me to an 877 number. In the process, the installers left and the new refrigerator in our house and uninstalled. The Home Depot service department said they would send someone out within 48 hours and compensate for food spoilage. UNACCEPTABE!!

Yea depot sucks nowadays...they used to be great but thats why they only show a 1 star out if 5 rating...I placed order over a week ago and the morons blew up my email and phone saying partial order ready. Then morons said whole order here. I drive all the way there and find out NOT ready. How incompetent do you have to be to tell customers order ready when not!!!! And their search engine completely sucks. Customer service is the worst! I wouldn't be least but surprised if they went out of business!!

This is the 2nd time I have placed an order with Home Depot and cancelled after no tracking because of their vendors. Home Depot gives a shipping date and then the day you supposed to get item, look up tracking and nothing changed. Had to call Home Depot to find out it won't be shipped on the date and that they are waiting for vendor.... IF YOUR VENDORS ARENT DOING THEIR JOBS, FIND A BETTER VENDOR!! My first order was a refrigerator and so I cancelled since no idea when the vendors could get the products, and I bought from Lowes. Same thing today. Partial order shipped yesterday and they could not tell me when the other part of my order would be coming. Cancelled and ordered from Lowe's. Home Depot is losing a lot of customers and money!!!

Home Depot delivery is, hands down, the worst delivery experience I have ever encountered in my entire life. My wife and I ordered a washer and dryer to be delivered to our new home. Everything was scheduled and contacts were confirmed IN-PERSON while at the store we made the purchase at. Delivery day comes along and guess what? Nobody has our contact information beyond our address. No call(s). No text(s). Nothing. Nobody even knocked on our door or rang the doorbell. After calling and dealing with this unprofessionalism thru their "Customer Service", we, again, verified our contact information and rescheduled the delivery. This time, for whatever reason, the delivery personnel called me instead of my wife (who made the order) and then LIED about their arrival and departure time. And now my wife and I are AGAIN having to deal with getting our appliances delivered for a third time. I will never ever use Home Depot, nor their delivery service, ever again.

I have now waited over nine (9) weeks for a shower door to be delivered. First order placed on 11/24/2025, order WH16027021. It was posted as a delay in delivery, a little delay was OK with me since I wasn’t ready for it yet. Two weeks after the original delivery date I started to get worried that I had not heard anything yet and was now ready to install the shower door. I called the 800 number on 12/27/2025 and they did a check and informed me that it was damaged in shipping, I figured OK but WHY did they not inform me of this before now? How long had it been setting in AAA Cooper’s warehouse somewhere broken and nothing done about it. My account was credited the next day so I reorder the same door on 12/28/2025, order WH19500048 with a delivery day of 01/28/2026. On the delivery date 01/28/2026 I once again called the 800 number checking on the status, I once again was given a case number and was told I would receive an email within 24 hours. Two days later and no email, I called again to check status and was told they had not heard from the trucking company (AAA Cooper). I called again today 02/02/2026 and this time the representative of Home Depot put me on hold and called the trucking company (AAA Cooper), after a rather long hold time he came back on the phone with me and proceeded to tell me that the package is lost and he would cancel the order and refund my card. Not sure just who I should be upset with here, Home Depot or AAA Cooper or as I see it both are responsible for this. Seems as if an order is delayed by a trucking company as in this case AAA Cooper that Home Depot should have reached out to them and figured out the problem before I had to get involved. Very much “ A FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE”!!!!!!!! Ok now here I’m setting with about a $1000 Home Depot credit, there is no Home Depot near me. The closest Home Depot is about 75 miles from me. Do they really think I’m about to order something else of that value to be delivered? Hopefully they will issue me a check in due time. In the past years while living in Houston Tx Home Depot was always my go to place for just about everything especially since there was 3 Home Depot’s within 5 miles of my house. I had my own personal house and 9 rental homes and spent thousands upon thousands of dollars with them and now I’m getting this kind of runaround from them. JUST NOT RIGHT!!!!

Home Depot has some serious problems with their delivery process. I ordered a refrigerator that was to be delivered on a Saturday. When the day arrived, it was snowing and there was about an inch accumulation. Home Depot canceled the delivery and rescheduled for the following Tuesday. Their reason for not delivering on Monday was that they needed 48 hours for scheduling. What? Wasn’t my refrigerator already loaded on the truck Friday night for an early Saturday morning delivery? Who knows. Anyway, Tuesday arrived and the Home Depot website wasn’t showing any delivery details so, I called them. I was assured that I would receive the refrigerator by noon that day. I called again at 11:00 and was told that there were 2 deliveries ahead of me but, it would definitely be delivered that day. At 1:00PM still no refrigerator. I called again and was told it should be at my home by 1:30 or so. At 3:30PM I called again and was eventually told that it had been rescheduled for Thursday. Once again, they couldn’t deliver it the next day because of the 48 hour scheduling constraint. They offered me a 10% discount due to the delivery problems but, asked that I wait until after delivery to contact them. We’ll see if the discount offer was real or just a ploy to prevent me from canceling my order. Tomorrow is supposedly my third delivery day. I’ll update my review at that time.

The Home Depot has once again changed delivery dates on product for a remodel. The shipping company keeps rescheduling the delivery without contacting me. We pay the constructed to show up and have to pay them even though we don’t have product to install. To top it off, we have family members with nursing care which is a nightmare due to HD constant changes.

My delivery of my vanity was severely damaged, box was on its side, which was clearly printed to be stood up, marked fragile, the marble vanity top, is broken and cracked. Big mistake, I tipped the Home Depot delivery guys $20. apiece. So, I’m out $40. That won’t happen again. My contractors were here, ready to install, now, I have to make another appointment with them to complete my bathroom remodel. This whole experience with Home Depot, has been a nightmare, and totally unacceptable. I strongly advise and caution people to think twice about ordering online with Home Depot. Communication with the online customer service has been difficult to say the least. I tried to post pictures, but, for some reason, they would not upload.

On Dec 3 we received our first delivery - removed old dishwasher DID NOT install new dishwasher, water was not turned off and a plug was not installed in the garage disposal, resulting in water damage in the basement and to the cabinets. - on a subsequent delivery the installer said it was against policy to leave without installing a dishwasher. Will Home Depot verify this was against company policy - delivered wrong model of dishwasher - tape was removed from stove large areas of adhesive could not be removed by delivery team. - did not install anti-tipping system on stove - both washer and dryer were damaged and returned at a later date - cold water on washer was not tightened causing water to drip. Homeowner tightened connection - shelving not installed in refrigerator - Dec 6 had plumber inspect for leaking water, plumber installed plug in garbage disposal to stop leak - Dec 10 delivered team came to pick up washer and dryer WITHOUT new washer and dryer. Washer and dryer remained until new washer and dryer was delivered - Dec 12 second incorrect dishwater delivered returned to Home Depot . No notice that a different model dishwasher was delivered - Dec 16 second stove delivered. Delivery agent said didn’t have to install anti-tipping device because previous installer should have. And was not on his work order - delivery team would not remove protective tape from stove, ‘not my job’ - second washer and dryer delivered. Hauled existing washer and dryer away,DID NOT mark washer as being returned. Issue was resolved by John at Brighton Home Depot - washer was connected with the hot and cold connection reversed, homeowner swapped water connections - could not get purchased dishwasher from Home Depot. - Currently no working garage disposal or dishwasher

I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at Home Depot over the past several years and occasionally enjoyed the benefits of their 10% off (or other such discounts) coupons they would send in the mail or online. Several months ago, that all changed. Building materials apparently no longer qualify for the discounts. How is it that a business that literally sells lumber, insulation, etc. makes the decision to no longer allow the use of their now almost worthless coupons on those items? When you read the fine print, it doesn't even mention it. I also shop at Lowes and use their credit card for a consistent 5% off. Unless something changes, I guess I'm done shopping at Home Depot.

Well in short home depot offers 6 months, 12 months no finance charges if paid on time unfortunately they took the promotion payment off the Webb sight you have to call to set up payment in my view this to set customers up for failure to get interest out of them I for 1 will be shopping big money products from Lowes if HD doesn't bring back promotion payments on line sorry not sorry

Home Depot, this experience has been deeply disappointing. Three weeks ago, my mother—a retired, disabled veteran—purchased a washer, dryer, pedestals, and a 3-year service plan totaling $2,200. As of today, she still cannot use the appliances she paid for. After nearly two weeks of repeated calls and scheduling attempts, an installer was finally sent. Unfortunately, the installation was done improperly and resulted in water leakage due to a broken washer drain hose. We are now waiting yet again for Home Depot to return and correct an issue that should never have occurred. What makes this worse is the amount of time my mother has spent dealing with customer service, repeated scheduling, and follow-ups—simply to receive the basic service Home Depot promises. Watching her go through this has been frustrating and disheartening.
