I ordered flooring online from Home Depot and paid extra for special delivery expected July 15th. I’m 9 months pregnant, my husband just had surgery, and I had contractors scheduled the next day to begin installation—everything was coordinated around this delivery.
Instead, I spent two full days chasing down answers. I called six times, was given inaccurate delivery windows, and never received clear updates. On July 16th, I was told I was “next in line” and that I’d get a call from the driver. The app even showed real-time tracking. Then it suddenly switched to “missed delivery” with no call, no attempt, and no explanation.
I’ve spent hours on hold, had multiple calls dropped when asking for a supervisor, and still received no follow-up—even after being told the issue was escalated. I was promised discounts (which barely cover the added stress and wasted time), but no one seems to actually be able to resolve anything.
This has caused major delays, financial inconvenience, and emotional stress during an already vulnerable time. Home Depot’s delivery coordination and communication systems are broken. I will never order from them again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else do either
