I paid $120 for a scheduled delivery from Home Depot, plus a $30 "express" fee to ensure it would arrive this morning between 10AM and noon. At 9:15AM — before the delivery window even began — I received a message saying the delivery had “failed” and needed to be rescheduled.
I’ve now spent over 45 minutes on hold with customer service, after several failed attempts to speak to someone. No one can tell me what happened, and no one seems able to help.
To make things even worse, when I tried to cancel the order, I was told that I have to go in person to the store — which is 45 minutes from my home. Seriously? In 2025?
This has been an absolute nightmare. I planned my whole day around this delivery, and now I’ve lost time, money, and patience.
I’ll be shopping at Lowe’s from now on — at least they treat customers with basic respect and don’t leave them stranded with zero accountability.
Do better, Home Depot. Much better.
