I orders some flooring on line . Payed with Home Depot credit card They sent me the receipt which was the only email I received. My flooring was supposed to be delivered on Dec. 18 I called on Dec. 17 because I haven’t heard anything They told me my order was canceled because the payment didn’t go through. This was a $4000 order I have spent a lot of money with Home Depot over the years I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I purchased a toolbox from the home Depot store in Clifton Park New York. I went up there to pick it up and it took forever to get someone to bring it out. The box was together and not in separate boxes as I was led to believe. It was obviously too large to put on my truck. I arranged to have it delivered for an extra fee which I wasn't counting on. Delivery was on time and the men were polite. At the store I noticed there was glue all over the top handle which I decided to overlook because i could clean that off there were several scratches it was obviously a floor model and was not advertised as a floor model. After the delivery man left, I noticed that the key was broken off in the top lock. When I was trying to take it apart to move it to where it was going the bolts holding on the top were stripped because too much torque was put on them or they were the cheapest bolts in the world. One of the bolts was actually broken off inside and another bolt was put in to replace it was was just turning freely. I'm thinking of returning this item not because of the flaws which it has which I can overlook as I don't necessarily need the lock and everything works or I could replace the bolts. My peeve is how could a business tender such an item and such condition to someone especially an item that cost that much. Do your employees have any pride in your products or your companies reputation. I never would have had this happen at small mom and pop store who depends on their customers for return business. I am thinking of returning the product but as of yet been able to contact any customer service agent. To top matters off, I am unable to upload pictures.

I have been billed for finance charge and then another finance charge. I haven't owed them in months, and they just bill finance charges on top of finance charges. I have canceled my Pro account with them and my two Consumer credit cards. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at Home Depot in the last two years, and will not spend another nickel there. I hope your finance charge will be worth all the sales you just lost.

Purchased GE washer and dryer on sale December 8th 2024 that was to be delivered December 11th, 2024. Paid for removal of old appliance, and delivery and set up of New appliances... Home Depot installer discovered the new one was broken when they set it up... They then took not only my old washing machine that I owned, but the new machine I also owned as I had already paid for it... They said they would replace it on Monday December 16th 2024...a little late but tolerable ... The Friday night, December 13th before new expected delivery I received a robo style call stating delivery date had been changed to March 10th 2025... Not even close to delivery date I purchased... so now Home Depot took my old washing machine... they took my new washing machine...they took my money... They also took my trust... I have no washing machine... Sarah in "Resolution " said even though Home Depot would not be able to deliver the machine I paid for I would receive a full refund... I was disappointed but at least I would then have my money back so I could purchase another washing machine.... That has not happened... Home Depot has yet to refund my money... I have no trust left for Home Depot... or in purchasing any more appliances from them in the future... My old washing machine, gone...My new washing machine I paid for, gone... my $1744.97 gone... missed time at work for delivery gone... They did finally return $256.54 that was for delivery, set up, and hull away of my old washing machine which I wish I still had... because now I can not do laundry at home anymore at all... Laundromat

No wonder Home Depot has a 1.7 star rating especially for its online purchases. I ordered an Aqua clear whirlpool bathtub online which was going to be a Christmas present for my wife since we are going to remodel our master bathroom after the new year. I ordered it and Paid for it in full on December 3 and was given a delivery date of December 7, of course this didn’t happen! I received an email that the delivery was delayed several times. I reached out by phone to their 800# and text message communication and was told the tub was in Hatfield Pa which is about an hour from Easton Pa. On the 16th of December I was texted it was out for delivery, I also received an email saying the order was canceled. CANCELED!! By who???? Yup they canceled my order because apparently they lost it. How the hell do you lose a bath tub ??!!!!! I will never purchase anything from Home Depot again! Thanks Home Depot you suck!!

I purchased a reem 40 gallon hot water tank From Home Depot online and it came fast but in a SUV and the box was ripped on the bottom but was told it was good. They took fast because it was cold. When I unboxed it it was smashed up pretty good not able to use. I couldn't get a hold of anyone and was given a out of state phone number. With help I took it to the Home Depot and got a refund minus the delivery charge. I went to Lowe's and got a good one. The reviews are true about the online rip off . They ain't kidding. Im trying to up load pictures. They wouldn't upload my pictures but it looked unbelievably bad.

I ordered $3300 worth of appliances with the understanding that the delivery driver would call me the day before with a 4 hour delivery window. At 7am the day of, they called to tell me they were 10 minutes away. Since I was unable to get to the house in 10 minutes, they canceled my delivery. I called Home Depot and canceled my order. It shouldn’t be hard to spend that kind of money. I won’t order from there again. You know who did come through for me and got me the appliances the same day? ABC Warehouse. They were so helpful and accommodating.

You may want to strongly reconsider purchasing appliances from Home Depot. I ordered a refrigerator, dishwasher and over microwave, all to be delivered and installed, for approx. $3300. On delivery date, I called to get a delivery timeframe, only to be informed they needed to cancel and reschedule for another day. Had I not called, I guess I would’ve been sitting at home waiting all day for the delivery. I was highly disappointed with Home Depot’s failure to proactively call me to cancel the order so I told the customer service representative to cancel the order. However, she was nice and convinced me to reschedule the delivery in lieu of canceling the order. The delivery was rescheduled for 3 days later. Unbelievably, the rescheduled delivery was a repeat of the prior delivery day. I called to get a delivery timeframe, only to be told that there was no room on the truck for my appliances. I’m flabbergasted at this point, so I cancelled the order and delivery and requested to have my money refunded. I was told the refund would 3-5 days. After day 2, I was refunded $400. I called customer service and was informed that was for the delivery and related expenses. 5 days after that, I was refunded approx. $2,100. Why the partial refunds, when I paid in one installment? After calling customer service again, I’m waiting for them to refund the balance, which is expected in another 2-3 days. I’m not sure what has happened to Home Depot, but my appliance delivery experience has been below terrible. Giving them my money was simple, but getting them to fulfill their obligations was a disgrace that never happened. I’m now seeing reviews from others with similar experiences. How can a company as large as Home Depot not be able to complete deliveries and refund customer’s money in a reasonable amount of time???? Completely unacceptable.

My wife purchased a Home Depot Protection Plan for an LG fridge repair. Instead of getting a cheque for reiimbursement she was given a gift card!! This happened at HD Terry Fox Mississauga Ontario branch. December 16 2024. Why gift card???..its not what we expected should be money for money. This is an added stress my wife is undergoing for having stuck with broken fridge for weeks. Is this the reward we get after being a loyal customer? She had to drive back an forth in cold days and spend valuable time and money just to avail the protection plan. What a waste! Is this some kind of twisted way to deny our insurance claim?

I'm fine with going to the store and getting what I need but the online order is another realm of its own. I ordered 1 package of light bulbs, 48 bulbs in a single package. When the order was delivered, I only received 12 of the 48 with the order claiming to be complete. I called customer service and they issued a return, and we reordered the same product again. Once again the order was delivered, but I only received 12 bulbs. So I called again and asked for another return, this time no reorder. Both orders were picked up and return to a warehouse. Order 2 was accepted and the refund was issued while order 1 went through investigation. After 2 weeks I received an email saying that order 1 was denied a refund because "Our return verification process has identified that we did not receive the item(s) you selected for this return." Honestly i feel like I'm being set up. You guys are claiming I did not return the right product when I did not even receive the right product to begin with. Now their third party refund team is saying I need a transaction #, funny enough this # does not exist so now I have to wait for Home Depot IT department to create a ticket and fix this issue. We could've avoided all this if your packaging team just shipped me the correct order consisting of 48 light bulbs to begin with but now we are here wasting everyone's time.

I took time off from work at the busiest time of year to have my appliances delivered and they going to call a few hours before and say they can not deliver due to shortage of drivers. There should have been a back up plan in place to keep your customers satisfied. I am highly disappointed on this experience.

I went to the Home Depot and was giving the run around while shopping for a bath vanity. The biggest issue was with employer Rabid ( sorry if spelling is correct). But he was rude and very unresponsive to giving any assistance. I am sorry I did not get the female that did assist as I was almost in tears by this experience. This is the one located at Hwy 6 and west Bellfort in houston Texas.

My appliances from Home Depot that I purchased by way of AAFES since my husband is disabled veteran has been an utter nightmare. I have had two deliveries and both Cafe refrigerator has been dented. I have spent hours on the phone with customer service since I purchased eight thousand dolllars in appliances. I am waiting to get confirmation for refrigerator replacement number 3. I will never buy anything else for my home from Home Depot again. This is my first review however I will report it the BBB and Home Depot corporate offices. Disgusting!

Order Odoban in cotton breeze scent online (keeping in mind that it was in stock as indicated) received another scent. Instead of switching the product I had to do a return instead. Home Depot workers need to keep in mind that there are people out here who cannot freely go to their store or is not capable of going and having to deal with errors in deliveries

Do not purchase appliances from Home Depot. On delivery date we were informed dishwasher was on back order. Refrigerator was damaged and bottom drawer of stove is damaged. Customer service has answers. We have to wait a month to get replacements. It’s Christmas and we do not have what we ordered and service is terrible. We will never buy from Home Depot again.

Got a Home Depot credit card when I purchased our appliances. 0% for 6 months. Had a balance of $400 at the end of 6 months and I get charged over $900 in interest on the full amount cause it wasn’t paid off in the 6months. Of course they don’t tell you this nor do people read the fine print. Just another scam to make a fast buck. The card is cut up never to be used again. 28% interest is highway robbery. Thanks a lot Home Depot 😡😡😡

First I start by saying if I could give zero stars I would. Here's my story I ordered Windows and door replacements for my entire house worth over $60,000 on April 2nd 2024. I was promised that delivery time is between 6 to 8 weeks. After months of waiting and multiple calls into home Depot they informed me that my windows and doors will be ready on August 29th. I had to call the central office multiple times and I had to drive into the home depot stores more than a dosen times to finally manage to move my installation date to July 29th. On the day of the installation the crew came in to install the windows and the doors and they discovered that three of the windows were ordered the wrong size. Home Depot re-ordered the three windows that came in the wrong size. Home Depot promise me that will expedite the new order but it still took 12 more weeks to bring the windows to my house. When the installers showed up to install the three new ordered windows they found out all three windows were ordered wrong size yet again. Home Depot placed third order to replace the windows with the wrong sizes again. they finally came to install two of them yesterday and the third is not going to be ready until the end of this month. Now mind you that none of the windows and the doors that were installed have been finished and inspected and I have no screens on my windows to date. This is a project that should have taken 2 months to complete is almost coming on a year and my house is still open not finished. You would expect such a service from a small company, but for a big company such as home Depot this is absolutely unacceptable. The worst is the irresponsiveness and the lack of caring of the staff and their management. They received payment on April 2nd before the start of the project and here I am after paying $64,000 still having an open project in my house waiting for home Depot and their mercy to bring in my last window install it pass inspection finish the installation so we can close it all up and make these windows and doors functional. I personally decided I will never ever buy anything from home Depot even if it's a screwdriver. This experience has been the experience from hell and home Depot's management did not make it easier. Just to give a comparison, during the same period I needed three more windows replaced. I ordered them from the same manufacturer through my contractor and all three windows came in and less than 3 weeks installed and inspected and completed in less than 4 weeks. So if a small contractor can get me the windows in less than 3 weeks get them installed, inspected and completed, I don't understand how a big company such as big home Depot with a large order cannot get this done in over 9 months now.

Free home delivery for appliances is horrible. Waited home all day on a Saturday, they never came. I thought they'd come first thing Monday, right? Nope, go to the back of the line and wait 10 more days. I've delayed my holiday trip because of this...one of the items is a gift I need to bring with me. If they cancel on me again, my holiday is ruined.

I would just love to thank the Home Depot for canceling my family’s Christmas dinner due to the incompetence of your warehouse or delivery drivers or both for sending all brand new damaged appliances and now having no appliances until the earliest of January 8 in which the old appliances were removed to make room for the new ones . It was not just 1 that was damaged but the fridge looked like it was beat up with a hammer , the range looked like it was dropped folding left rear bottom corner up and the dishwasher that looked like someone ran into the front door , but at least the microwave looks good but does not notify when timer is at end , so I would like to wish all involved a merry freaking Christmas, and oh yeah almost forgot about the customer service agent that told me there is nothing he can do and would not let me speak to his manager and that he didn’t want to waste his time because he had already answered me and that was it !!! Such a great experience especially after I had a terrible experience with my a/c system that I purchased from them several years ago which costed me as much to get their botched install repaired from another company as I had payed them to do the job , I can promise that this will be my last big purchase from them
