Subject: Lack of Customer Assistance at Home Depot – The Woodlands (Research Forest Location)
Dear Home Depot Customer Service / Store Management,
I visited your The Woodlands store on Research Forest on August 18, 2025, and had a highly disappointing experience.
I searched for about 15–20 minutes to find the items I needed but had no luck in finding the item or locating an associate.
I asked the cashier clerk to make a PA announcement requesting assistance in aisle 15. Though I heard the announcement, no one came to help.
I then noticed a young female employee leaning over carpet displays, deeply focused on her phone and texting. She showed no awareness of customers around her, even though I approached her, she remained unresponsive.
Despite continuing to look for help throughout the store—including passing by this same employee again in the same position—I never received any assistance.
Frustrated, I left and went to Lowe’s instead.
This level of service is unacceptable. I hope Home Depot addresses this to ensure other customers don’t face the same lack of support.
