We purchased a frameless shower door installation through Home Depot because we believed Home Depot would stand behind the project and provide support if issues arose. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The installation was subcontracted to a third-party installer, and the project ultimately required multiple installation attempts, replacement of the glass door, additional modifications, and months of effort before the shower stopped leaking. What was most disappointing was Home Depot's lack of involvement throughout the process. As the customer, I paid Home Depot for the project, so when problems developed, I repeatedly contacted the Home Depot Custom Order Specialist to keep her informed and seek assistance. Each time, I was simply referred back to the subcontractor. I explained that I understood the subcontractor was performing the work, but my agreement and payment were with Home Depot. Despite multiple conversations over several months, Home Depot never took ownership of the issue, never provided meaningful assistance, never followed up on the status of the project, and never advocated on our behalf. Eventually, the leakage was stopped, but only after replacement of the door, correction of a threshold issue, and installation of additional components that were not part of the original design. Throughout that process, we largely felt that we were responsible for coordinating, documenting, and driving the resolution ourselves. I understand that Home Depot uses subcontractors for many installation services. However, when customers purchase a project through Home Depot, they reasonably expect Home Depot to remain engaged when significant problems arise. In our case, that support was missing. While the project was eventually completed, the overall experience left us disappointed. Based on our experience, I would not choose Home Depot for a custom shower door installation project in the future.

Deryck Roche (PISSED OFF) So the incompetent people Home Depot uses for deliveries called my Property Managements number instead of mine when the delivery truck was close to my address today June 18, 2026. They didn't call my number even though it's on the delivery order, they didn't ring the doorbell but they said they were here even though I've been looking out for them since 8 am through my front window. I need this delivered today, I took the whole day off to have this damn fridge delivered. Order #0242054550 Case # 7903271. The Customer service lady I spoke with, her name is Funke. I need this fridge today!!!!

We were anticipating the delivery and installation of some blinds, which had been purchased from Home Depot. We also scheduled delivery and installation through Home Depot. A kid shows up on the scheduled day without said blinds. He acknowledges that he was supposed to pick up the blinds but then states that he doesn’t even know which store he was supposed to pick them up from. Really??? I’m sorry, but that’s just unacceptable and inexcusable! Perhaps Home Depot should do a better job of vetting the experience level and intelligence of those they hire for installations. The kid was not even that apologetic. Terrible customer service!

Tried to call the customer service to get shower door consultation. I got nowhere as she could barely speak English. She had no clue as to what I was asking. I think home depot could do a lot better. Went somewhere else.

As a brand new Home Depot customer, I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service that I received. The delivery of my fridge was rescheduled 4 times by the delivery company for various reasons. For the first delivery attempt on Wednesday June 3rd, the wrong item was delivered and the delivery was rescheduled for June 4th. It’s also worth noting that after the first delivery attempt, I was unable to track my order or see any updated delivery dates/times in my Home Depot account. I was solely dependent on calls from the delivery team to determine when the fridge would arrive. Typically they would call with only 5 minutes notice. On the second delivery attempt, I was then told by the delivery crew that they would be unable to connect my fridge to the valve on my sink because it was not compatible with the water line they had and they would only be able to drop the fridge off or reschedule for another day. I as the customer had no way of knowing this would be an issue when the fridge was ordered, as there was nothing in the product description that indicated what type of valve was compatible with the water line. As a result my delivery was rescheduled for Saturday, June 6th while I had a new valve installed on my kitchen sink. For the third delivery attempt, I received a phone call telling me that the delivery truck had broke down and the earliest they could complete the order was Tuesday, June 9th. On June 9th, the delivery was finally completed. Home Depot did offer a 25% refund of the cost of the fridge for the delays. But between multiple calls to Home Depot customer service and taking multiple days off work for the various delivery attempts, the entire experience was extremely stressful and inconvenient for me as the customer so it still doesn’t seem like enough. Especially considering this is the first delivery I have ever had with Home Depot as a new customer. I am very reluctant to use Home Depot in the future and am more inclined to look at other companies for home appliance needs after this week long customer service nightmare.

Team would not connect the water line to refrigerator, they said it was 3 inches too short, I explained to the tech there was extra line under the sink that they just had to pull it a little, they said they could not, we didn't pay for that service. Unbelievable Lazy

I bought two lithium battery packs (Ridgid) from a store in the next town NW of me, only to find out that neither one will take a charge. Both battery packs were brand new--& dead, right out of the package. That was $130 for a pair of paperweights. Home Depot sells junk now.

I ordered a dishwasher because they had a good price and I really like Home Depot. This is the first time I have had a delivery and it could not have been worse. They called to say they were 30 minutes away and it was closer to an hour. I run a business and was off the phone the entire time to be available. The delivery people were great though and made it clear that there was only a 48 hour window to return the dishwasher. I own an older home so I wanted my plumber to install it - the date was a week away. I called and waded through their voice mail system to ask for an extension and explained the circumstances. The customer service agent told me that I had misunderstood. I was reading the same 48 hour return policy on their website and told him so. I asked him to send me something in writing that I would be able to return it and he wouldn't so I told him to send people to pick it up. On Monday, it was picked up, I received a refund and I reordered the dishwasher. At this point I should have known better. Home Depot gives a 30 minute courtesy call. On the Thursday the dishwasher was to be delivered I was running errands and took my grandson to the pool. They called when they were only a few minutes away and I still had a 20 minute drive home. The driver argued with me about the time I had to be at my home (they can wait 15 minutes) and I reminded him that I was supposed to have a 30 courtesy call. I raced through construction traffic but made it only to find out that the delivery team were a few streets east of me because Google directions had put them there. When I arrived, the driver again argued with me that he was in front of the right house and I assured him that he was not. Finally, I walked to the sidewalk with a tired and crying grandson to see him up the street. Still arguing with me he acknowledged that he saw me. When he did get to my home, he berated me for not having my house numbers on my mailbox but he carried the dishwasher to the garage. He then let me know that he would be late to his next delivery. I want to recognize the the delivery team has very tight parameters and while he was clearly upset and he DID wait, he was never disrespectful and he and I used ma'am and sir, thank you and your welcome. If you only read part of this READ THIS: Home Depot Hassles are not worth saving money!

I ordered online in April a $1,100 tool cabinet and was going to pick it up but realized after it wouldn't fit in my Rav. I called Home depot customer service the same day and they advised me to cnx order and then ordered it for delivery with a $75 charge . He was kind enough to give me a 60 dollar gift card to make up for the delivery fee. I received a cancellation order number but discovered I was still being billed twice on my credit card . I have called 4 separate times to talk to someone and they keep saying I wasn't being billed even thought Mastercard card confirmed I was billed. I have started a dispute procedure with Mastercard to get the money back but it will take 90 days to be resolved. Luckily Rona is close by and I purchased a new tractor through them rather than home depot. Horrible service and accounting dept.

I had special ordered 4 handrails and 4 lattice panels. When Home Depot received them at the lower Paxton store in pennsylvania, they only received 3 hand rails and 4 lattice panel. After a long exhaustive hour of figuring it out, I was originally informed that the store miss ordered the amount and was sent to pro services for replacement. I was then informed I would have to pay shipping to have the missing hand rails sent. I made it clear I will not pay anything for an item I should've received today! Well, I was then told they got it down to a dollar. I once again made it clear that I wouldn't pay nothing for something I paid for and should've been here and was costing me 2 weeks longer on completing job. They couldn't do anything about it. So as I was leaving I told them cancel the order I'll get it else where. I then called customer service. Customer service says I can't believe you are canceling an order over $1. I said it's not about the dollar, it's about the fact I didn't get what I ordered, and shouldn't have to pay for thier error. I was then informed you should've called us before leaving the store, we would've gave a gift card for the dollar. Whatever happened to customer service is beyond me, but lowes has my business now! One very unhappy customer

I would give them a zero if it was possible they dont even deserve a 1 star!! I have been with them like 4 years made every payment on time only once I did forget. Because of the pandemic my credit score went down and I find out I NO longer have a usable Home Depot card I can use and they left me with 0$ to spend and I dint even owe them any $$ for like almost 1 year!! I wouldn't use them again no matter what I need. We all need to just use our local stores that deserve our hard earned money!!!

The delivery never arrived on the scheduled day. Then, the driver left the boxes outside in the rain, and he was extremely rude—we actually had to call the police. The worst part is that the delivery driver faced no consequences. I went to the store and canceled my order for $6,000 worth of kitchen cabinets. Very poor service.

Home Depot Kennewick Washington 99337. I'm done with home Depot, reserved a 5/8 in power feed sewer auger which is rated for 4 to 8 in sewer pipe, reserved it for 8:00 a.m. got there before 8:00 a.m. the representative that was helping another customer said give me a minute, it was 20 minutes before he ever came back maybe a little more cuz they sent somebody else to replace him after one of the six people behind me complained, two of the people before him actually left, so I was stuck dealing with a gentleman from doors and windows that wasn't familiar with the rental stuff, I had reserved a power feed and he tried to give me a manual feed no big deal he's trying, and then he said I could pick from any one of the tools in the box well it's rated for four to eight inches but the biggest tool in the box was for two and a half inch pipe, when the original rental gentleman came back he was oblivious no apologies, the gentleman from Doors and windows let me cancel my reservation but I wasted my gas wasted my time wasted my Saturday morning, for something they knew couldn't possibly happen, nobody has their own cutters for a power auger if they did they wouldn't be renting, so frustrated I need to cancel my home Depot account it's a joke home depot's websites the worst their service is poor Lowe's and even Ace blows them out of the water
