The worst customer service company in Canada.

The man working in the paint department at the Home Depot Centerville, Utah, store on April 30 at 4:30pm MST provides the worst customer service. I was first in line to be helped but he helped two other people first. When he finally got to me I asked him to mix up a gallon of Behr semigloss paint in the color haze. He couldn't find the paint on the shelf so I pointed out there were six gallons of semigloss right next to the tint machine. Then he looked up my previous orders and saw I had ordered Haze in a satin finish one year ago and said I wanted satin. When I told him we use Haze satin in the living room and bedrooms in rental condos and semigloss in the kitchens and bathrooms, he apparently became flustered and walked off. So I ended up getting the paint I wanted at a Home Depot in Salt Lake City. Ralph Wakley.

Very, very poor Executive Escalations experience. Customer service is antiquated and glaringly lacking. No accountability, much misinformation and zero concern. I emailed the CEO - Ted Decker, in hopes of getting a resolution. No help. I have been speaking with a Katelin Seaholm, she mindlessly emails misinformation and brushes off that, she erred in doing such. No executive management personnel available for assistance.

Just a note to say Justin Carroll at the Danbury Federal Rd store was most helpful by helping me load my timber onto my truck. Thank you Justin!

Cecil made time to help me, spent alot of time, helping me figure our grass seed , mulch, weed killer etc… my first time trying to plant grass. She was crazy helpful, googled what she didn’t know to make sure I had what i needed. Walked in nervous, walked out confident. Huge thanks to Cecil!

My husband and I needed a new refrigerator. We were told it would be here between 3pm and 7pm. We waited, received a notification they were 2 stops away at 6pm. Still waited. No phone call or any updates. By 7:30pm my husband calls. We were told they had no clue what happened but we did not receive our delivery. Now, we have to wait 3 more days. That's if they show up.

Dishwasher delivered. 1 minute later the guy tells me he can’t remove the old one and install the new one. Want to know why. There was a kick plate in front of old dish washer . So I removed it. Then they said my floor was not even. They told me TOMAC, that sets up delivery and instillation had “restrictions”. So I have a dishwasher in my dining room and need to find a qualified plumber to install .Don’t expect any good service if buying appliances from Brick Home Depot. They don’t care.

The Home Depot new credit card promotion to get a $50 credit on a purchase over $300 IS A LIE. I purchased a dishwasher, protection plan, installation and kit, pluss parts, and haul-away. When they got here to install it, they said they couldn't. I was supposed to have been refunded everything but the dishwasher and protection plan. Either they only refund a percentage of those items, or they don't do the $50 credit for opening a new credit card. Even with a full refund of those items, purchase total is still well over $300. I will pay what I DON'T owe, but I will NEVER shop at Home Depot again! The credit card is destroyed!

I have been shopping in store as well as online for a PVC privacy fence with little success. Yesterday I went back to the store in Murrells Inlet SC. to try to understand the parts and pieces, which were spread out in two different locations, but maybe an employee could assist me. The first employee I spoke to had very little knowledge or desire to help me. Then came "Bob" from the pro desk. He not only had the desire to help but the knowledge to check inventory, the willingness to go out back and search. He admitted inventories were incorrect. Then solved my issues by ordering from another store, adding additional materials, to the tune of over $800.00 with a delivery the next day. HOME DEPOT you should be proud to have Bob as an employee. This was incredible customer service that is not usually experienced at the big box stores. It was almost like I was shopping at the Amazon website in person. Fantastic job Bob, Thank You! If you need help in Murrells Inlet SC talk to Bob at the Pro desk

I ordered a set of major appliances (fridge, range, over the range microwave and dishwasher) for the first time through Home Depot and it was an absolutely nightmare experience! I placed the order on Dec 5 with the earliest delivery date being February 15. I was aware of that when I placed the order and was fine with waiting. What I was not expecting was 7 days that I had to take off work for deliveries/attempt at deliveries with the final piece being delivered three weeks later on March 4. 6th delivery for fridge, 7 days tied to deliveries/service calls Attempt 1: Home Depot couldn't install the fridge and dishwasher due to "leaky" valves. I was told home depot would reschedule for a plumber to redeliver the dishwasher, but I would need to call my own plumber for the fridge. They could not install the over the range microwave due to my kitchen having a backsplash, which I did not see anywhere notifying me of this. The only item they were able to successfully deliver and install on this visit was the range. I ended up having to have someone else install the microwave. Plumber: Had a plumber come out who said there was no leak for the fridge. Attempt 2: Delivery of the fridge was unsuccessful due to being told this time that I need a plumber to install a shut off valve BEHIND the fridge in order for home depot to be able to install (something that was not told to me the first time and I would have had the plumber take care of this during their visit). The plumber came later in the day to install the dishwasher, who stated there was also no leak for the dishwasher but unfortunately, the dishwasher was dinged and cracked from being moved around so they would have to re-order a new one and reschedule delivery. Attempt 3: New dishwasher delivered, but apparently the lines are copper and needs a plumber to install so Home Depot had to reschedule yet another delivery for the dishwasher. Attempt 4: Dishwasher finally installed by their plumber, fridge also set to be redelivered same day was a no show. Attempt 5: Home depot came out and while looking at my fridge asked if I was supposed to be getting a new fridge, because they only had a service call to remove a fridge and did not have the new fridge with them! Attempt 6: Successful delivery of fridge With all these issues, home depot offered me a "max credit" that was to include the plumber I had to hire but didn't need. It was really minimal for the SEVEN days that I had to request off work in one months time, not to mention the endless hours on the phone with home depot to reschedule deliveries and to obtain delivery windows (which are not available under the night before so you literally just have to request a full day off). Because I was already receiving the "max" credit, I was offered a gift card for the reimbursement of the install fee for the microwave and refrigerator since they could not install with the backsplash and no valve behind the fridge. I ended up having to call home depot back two more times for the refund because it was not marked to be "released" so I didn't receive it and then again for the gift card which they claimed there were no notes stating anything about a gift card, but they ended up issuing one anyway. I actually had more appliances in my cart that I was getting ready to order from Home Depot, but after this horrible experience, I will NEVER be ordering any type of delivery/install service from Home Depot. What an absolute nightmare experience this was to get some appliances! The communication (or lack there of) and mistake after mistake was just plain sloppy and ridiculous. Customer service was severely lacking in coordination and making things right.

Been watching TV and a commercial comes on from home Depot on an American speaking channel and the commercial is in Mexican. This does not make sense. You're going to do a commercial on an English speaking channel. Why not make it English

You would think with the money Home Depot has and makes that they could have a better online system that doesn't crash every 30 seconds!!!!!! You all need a better IT team

My experience with Home Depot was extremely frustrating. I needed to replace a gas dryer that was old. I have a gas shut off value in my home, so I did not need to have one installed. When the dryer was delivered, the installer told me that I did not have a shut off value and told me I needed to have one installed. I went back to the Home Depot store and spoke with the rep who took my order. I explained my problem and showed him a picture of the shut off value and he basically told me it was my problem. I had a new value installed and called to schedule a new delivery. Long story short, it took 4 attempts to get the new dryer. I wasted close to 30 hours of my time and countless trips to a laundromat before the dryer arrived. The communication between Home Depot and the delivery company is pathetic. I will never purchase anything from Home Depot again that I can not carry out of the store. So much for customer service at Home Depot.

Sales cashier Catherine in the garden department acted like it was an inconvenience for her to try to wait on me, or even be friendly. Maybe she's just mad at the world!

Ordered 5 rolls of welded wire on April 5. ONLY 4 rolls got loaded to send to Home Depot so I could go pick them up. Never did get the 5th roll many days later so called customer service and the agent said he'd just reorder the one roll that I never got but paid for and that it will take 3 days to ship it to Home Depot. It's been 4 days and NOTHING. I get on and check today and says it was on the Fedex truck this am at 8:30 in Pittsburg ks to be delivered to the Pittsburg ks HOme Depot. That was 10 hours ago. I got no call or email telling me to come get it. I called Fedex and found out it was delivered at Home Depot this morning at 11:27. WHAT A JOKE. I"M NEVER ORDERING from them again.

Employee Bethany was racist and condescending. She was arrogant while I said “I wasn’t ready to purchase”, but would rather purchase my items in self checkout as she took my items and gave them to another associate as if I was going to steal them.

We purchased a washer a dryer set and were told it would be delivered in 4 days. #1) so much for next day service. On the day that they were to deliver we were informed that it would be between 4pm and 8pm. You have to remember this was a Friday night we are talking about. At 7:20 pm we receive a phone call that they are not able to deliver due top problems with a previous delivery. We were also informed that it might be delivered the following Monday but they could specify a time because the system is automated. The next day we received and email saying the delivery would in deed be on Monday but between between 2:00am and 1:50am. When we called we were told that it is an automated system that generates the times. If it is automated doesn't that mean that someone had to program the system to generate the response? They told us that they would call us back and confirm an appropriate time. I'm not holding my breath but I am looking for a RELIABLE store that can deliver on their promises.
