“Purchased an appliance suite on there pre Black Friday sale, Nov.13. Was delivered on Nov 18. They couldn’t install dishwasher because they didn’t bring a long enough hose to connect. They didn’t level the refrigerator so the door scrapes and the microwave door is not level. The delivery guy said they would call to reschedule the dishwasher install the next day, well they didn’t call. I called them and they said they couldn’t come till the 2nd of December when they were going replace the microwave. I said that’s too long to wait for the dishwasher to be installed as it is in the box in my hallway, so they rescheduled it for the 25th of November. They never showed up on the 25th and when I called they said it got changed back to the 2nd by the manufacturer. I called them and they said they don’t switch delivery dates it was Home Depot that switched it. I called the store manager she called the delivery company, they said they couldn’t install till Dec. 2, period! They assured me all would be done on the 2nd and they would have the right size hose for the dishwasher. On Dec 2 the were to come between 2:30-6:30. They showed up at 9:20 with the new microwave, said they couldn’t install the dishwasher because they didn’t have the right hose and someone would call in the morning before they head over to install it. The next morning ( today ) they called to say thy won’t be here till Dec 6 to install everything. Now I have a microwave and dishwasher in my hallway. I called devliery company, store manager, corporate, and went into the store to try get my appliances installed to no avail! They do not care! This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! I will never step foot back in that store for anything!!! I want to return everything and go somewhere else cuz this has been a nightmare!!!”

“I made the purchase on black Friday and the clerk said they had over 400 in stock, no problem. It was scheduled for December 2, no calls or alerts that it was rescheduled for the 4th of December. My tenant was out of a refrigerator before Thanksgiving and now he has to wait again. Unprofessional and unacceptable customer service.”

“My daughter buy me a $488 gas dryer! By the time they put the delivery charge pick up charge and gas charge on there the dryer came to $909! It was delivered by two gentlemen who didn’t speak a drop of English and I couldn’t understand what they were saying so I had my son come over to try and figure out the problem, especially with them hooking up”gas” In my home! They were also Supposed to switch the door to open a different direction they didn’t and of course, when I tried to talk to them about it they didn’t speak English like a fool. I signed the paper but then called right away. The girl on the phone was and her teeth ! I have never dealt with such rude people in my life!! When we called Home Depot and tried to talk to them about it, they gave us two separate dates of when they could come out and fix the issue. They called us and said it’s not their problem. We have to call a third person because we didn’t tell them to do it right away I will never ever, buy anything from Home Depot in Monticello Minnesota again ! I’ve never been treated so rudely and disrespectfully and lied to so much in my life. I’ve been doing customer service for 25 years. I would never ever think about treating a customer so rudely as I have been treated now. It really irritated me because I couldn’t stand in there and watch what they were doing because I just got home from having surgery on my leg and was on crutches! Buyer beware I’ve never had a bad experience with Lowe’s ever so goodbye Home Depot hello Lowe’s And when I called the store to talk to store manager, they refused to put the call through! And the real kick in the head is this dryer is a piece of garbage! I’ve had to run a small load through three times to get to drive”

“We had a problem with delivery date was moved up on us without if was good for us, whatever was good for them we had to cancel our plans to make sure we were available for delivery when notified HP we were told we would get $108 put back on our gift card and after repeatability calling HP and the time, they LIED repeatability to us there won't be a next time I don't want to do business with them again. Hello Lowe's!”

“Worst customer service of any organization in sny type of business I have ever seen. Multiple times looked up an item online. Said I could have same day pick up in store. Texted me that the order was ready. Got to store and wrong item was given to me. Person on the store said I was was wasting their time! Literally. Guy named Lior should loose his job. Manalapan NJ.”

“I bought a snowblower when I opened the box it was broken. I was on the phone for two hours and customer service would not do anything about it and the Home Depot store won’t take it back because it’s a gas powered item.”

“I purchased $3500 in appliances. I was told I would get 12 months now interest no payment. They started charging me interest at 6 months. They will not reverse it. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING THERE EVER AGAIN. Nor will any of my family members. Hello Costco 👋 nice to meet you! I need new doors! Nate is the manager at Home Depot in Chaska MN. Thanks for delegating this task and letting your customers leave your business.”

“BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCE FROM HOME DEPOT. If anything goes wrong, you're screwed. The Home depot only wants to pass the problem(which is now me) of our $3000 fridge that has worked in 2 weeks to the manufacturer. So it will be 6 weeks without a fridge before Kitchenaide(Whirlpool) to try to fix it. I wish I could put 0 stars.”

“If I could give a minus 5 I would. New dishwasher was put in Nov. 7th it leaked that night. Called In the 48 hour time frame to get it replaced and have been given the run around. Was to be installed every Thursday since getting it replaced now they are saying not till Nov 30th. Not a happy customer. Will not order an appliance from them again. Will go to their competitor up the street from them. Got a different excuse every time we have called. They need to come and do my dishes Thanksgiving. Thanks home depot for ruining my holiday”

“I strongly caution anyone against purchasing appliances from Home Depot. I placed an order three weeks ago with a promised delivery within two days. After being given a four-hour delivery window, I waited, but the appliances never arrived. The delivery was rescheduled for the following week, and despite confirming over the phone that they were on the way, nothing showed up again. Hoping the third time would be the charm, I confirmed once more and waited all morning, only to discover after hours on the phone that my order had been canceled without explanation. Now, I’m left chasing a refund, wasting even more time and energy. This has been an infuriating experience, full of broken promises and zero accountability. Avoid Home Depot for appliances at all costs!”

“Bought 60 inch Toro riding lawnmower from Home Depot on August 8, 2024 Belt has since jumped off three times and fourth time mulitated it tried to get them to fix it to no avail spoke with Square Trade Allstate, Toro, asst. Managers, store manager, even corporate, was referred to guy that works on lawn mowers not for Home Depot but through Home Depot was told warranty only covered belt for one month been working on at least a month and mower supposed the have manufactures warranty and was coached into buying extended warranty. Now we have broke mower with no kind of service would not recommend buying from them worst service ever tried even contacting store manager numerous times guess she is still on break to remove no good warranties”

“I ordered 2 large items from home depot. I was expecting a call for delivery date as people who work can't be available at the drop of a hat. I realize now they are shipped through Fed Ex or other carrier and home depot does nothing to help coordinate delivery dates. Called Fed Ex since estimated delivery date was a day I work. Could not speak to a real person. All automated. Not sure what will happen when I am not home when delivered but I am sure home depot will not give a .... I will NEVER order from home depot again as I have spent a lot of time on the phone to accomplish nothing.”

“I have lost complete trust in Home Depot and will not be shopping there anymore. I bought the Dewalt drill package, which supposedly they said you buy the batteries for $199 and get the drill for free. I asked about the return policy and that is were they FAILED to tell me that if I return the drill and batteries that I would not be receiving a full refund. And that is what happened and all the manager could tell me was that it is written on the receipt the max refund which was not the original payment. Well that is too late when it shows on the receipt after I already purchased it and then she continued to state that it is on the poster in fine print. There is no way to read the fine print since the poster is hanging from the ceiling. This is definitely the worst experience I have had. I feel I was cheated and lost COMPLETE TRUST IN HOME DEPOT. If I can give them zero stars I would.”
