I had a very bad experience with Home Depot. I was trying to order a fence. I called 5 stores after difficulties ordering online. Each time I called a store I was put on hold for over 10 minutes, I decided to come to the store near me which was Ridley pa, I was able to buy it but the girl who processed my order made a mistake. She told me the fence came with a post and kit. When they delivered it there was no post or kit, I tried to call the store and asked to speak to a manager, she put me on hold for over 10 minutes then took me off hold but left me waiting for over 10 minutes then took me off hold but didn’t speak to me. I could hear her talking to other people but she never came back to speak to me. I decided to return to the store to return the fence, I spoke to a guy who claimed to be the assistant manager but he made no effort to help me. He seemed angry. I went to the girl who made the mistake initially, she apologized and tried to return the fence, that took over 30 minutes, at first she informed me she was not allowed to return it, I wasn’t going to leave without my refund. After several minutes and my insistence they were able to offer me a refund but informed me it will take a few days to see my money. I used a debit card, I should have seen my refund right away. Hopefully I get my money back . it’s been a horrible experience for me. I am not sure I will shop at Home Depot again.
