We found Harbour View House Whitby to be a large tastefully decorated property with stunning views across Whitby harbour. We were a party of 9 celebrating a significant birthday and were delighted with the facilities the house provided, especially the on site 2 car parking. The bedrooms are well furnished with comfortable beds, crisp linen and plenty of towels. The lounge area is comfortably furnished with 3 large sofas and side tables. The outside space, on 2 levels, was very much appreciated although the larger area on the lower level would benefit from some weeding. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a good supply of china and glassware. However cleaning materials and dishwasher tabs were in short supply. The only negative aspect we found is that as a party of 9 in 3 separate family groups, 2 bathrooms are somewhat inadequate. We found the steps within the property along with those outside to the road could be managed with care by our senior family members.
