We have just returned from a lovely three night stay at The Chimneys in Alnmouth , the property was well furnished and very comfortable, might need to put a sign in the kitchen warning about scalding from very hot handles on the cheap silver pans as my partner found out suffering first degree burns on her hand . That did not retract from an excellent holiday , the bed linen and mattress were of a high quality and very comfortable, it was a short walk to bars and restaurants in the viillage . Would have no hesitation in returning to the property, only downside bombarded with emails from host and stay every day which I could have done without.
