We stayed at Abbey hus in whitby recently. The correspondence regarding our stay was great. On arrival we found the communal entrance very gruby. Our living area was clean and tidy but the carpet in the entrance/bedroom were heavily stained and dirty with black hair everywhere. The tiles in the bathroom had mould on them which could have been washed off with a good clean. The kitchen was lovely but had very little equipment ie no peeler, grater 2 cups ect. The place was very central which was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay but could have been improved if the place has had a deep clean prior to our arrival.
