End of Nov 2024 I purchased online a new Hotpoint washing machine NSWM 946 W UK which was delivered on 9 Dec 2024. Connecting the new machine was all done by Hotpoint staff. The machine worked fine for 18 days, and this morning, on the 19. day, at around 5am I switched the machine on for a 45 mins program and went to bed again. Some time later I woke up and saw a huge water leak on the floor under the left side of machine and the carpet in the corridor in front of the machine was also wet. I called Hotpoint Customer Service, they booked an engineer appointment for 6 Jan 2025. I am very disappointed about this new washing machine and the wait it takes for the engineer to come. Also, customer service are not very polite, and the web chat leads to nothing, they only give a phone number, when I called them I was told that they cannot answer the phone at this time. This obviously was the last time that I purchased a Hotpoint product. Never again in future.
