Customer service at giltbrook is a joke. After visiting the store today we left feeling the attitude of your customer service staff were rude in their response to our issue which we raised in a calm manner. The issue was over £1400.00 of kitchen appliances that was listed at two different prices in your kitchen displays a discrepancy of £200.00. We were asked by a kitchen assistant to go to customer services, when we arrived we were asked ‘why have you come here’ too which we replied ‘we were told too’. After a while of discussion we were told ‘if you don’t like it you don’t have to have it ‘ this was after a £20 gesture of good was offered!! A £100 gesture of good will could have secured a sale. Customer service was appalling and if IKEA can afford to lose a £1400.00 sale then I am sure JOHN LEWIS will welcome it. Customer Service I am sorry to say is extremely poor and I suggest you invest in some customer service training.
