The bar itself is great but - given that I placed my order in November (it's March as I write this) - it's hugely disappointing that I'm still awaiting for my parallettes to be delivered. The parallettes were offered as a gesture of goodwill for the fact that my bar installation was delayed then had to be rescheduled several times. I thought that was a fair gesture. Neill has told me that the parallettes have been shipped on 3 separate occasions (they were first meant to arrive just after New Year - almost 3 months ago). Sadly he has ignored my requests to share the delivery company's tracking numbers so while I have made sure that I am in the house on each occasion, no delivery has ever turned up, no note has been left, and I have been the one to follow Neill up each time to ask where the delivery got to - each time Neill has promised a new date. At the risk of making this more complex, there have also been numerous occasions when Neill or one of his team were going to be in my area and he said they would simply drop them off with me directly. I asked if on each occasion that whoever it was could give me a call when they were close so I could make myself available though I have never seen anyone nor received any call. If this was just about the bar installation, I'd give 4/5 stars: - just over 1 month from paying to installation - installation rearranged 3-4 times - the post isn't the prettiest (see close-up pictures) - I think the gashes in the wood are superficial so shouldn't affect sturdiness though - Neill advised well on how best to use the space I've got - It does what I wanted it to do! For communication, transparency and proactivity - plus the fact that my parallettes still aren't here- I'd give 0/5 stars if I could. So this balances out at 2/5 Neill, if you'll resolve this issue once and for all I'll acknowledge it in the review.
